My partner and I were lucky enough to stay here for a week recently. Wow, what a fab week we had! Annie is a wonderful lady who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and happy. Nothing is too much trouble. The building is truly amazing. We had a gorgeous room and bathroom with beams galore but... More

My daughter and I made a last minute decision to go to a family party but hadn't organised anywhere to stay - then we stumbled over Old Copwood B&B and found a little slice of heaven. Annie made us so welcome. The bedroom was wonderfully comfortable with stylish additions of shortbread and port as well as tea and coffee. The... More

We wanted a B&B while visiting for a family event nearby and we really struck lucky with Old Copwood. Our room was very comfortable with everything we could need, and some we didn't know we needed but certainly made room for, as in the delicious home made shortbread and the port! Given directions to a pub just a couple of... More

Spent a night at Old Copwood last week, and would happily have stayed longer if we could. Comfortable, clean, welcoming. BIG bed, and yes, there was port and homemade shortbread, a great way to round off a good evening meal out at a pub. Came in to find Annie putting the bread and rolls to rise for the morning: delicious!... More

Love the homemade bread, the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning hmmm...when... More

We spent the weekend wondering around the South Downs and the Seven Sisters National Park. Old Copwood was an ideal base. The owner was incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially as we were a family of 4. Would highly and recommend and would definitely come back!

We recently stayed one night at this lovely ‘home from home’ B&B whilst attending a wedding reception nearby. The welcome from the owner Annie was very warm and we were shown around and made very welcome. We especially liked the homemade shortbread and decanter of port provided in the room! Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and really tasty, and... More

Very homely, comfortable and excellent breakfasts. Annie is a good hostess, nothing too much trouble. Two good pubs with fine menus just five minutes way in the car. Delightful character property in a good location to visit Sussex. Not too far to Rye where you can enjoy a superb half day out. I would wholly recommend Old Copwood.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely B&B a week ago. We were visiting our daughter who has just moved to Uckfield and needed to stay overnight to help with the move. What a truly lovely experience. Lovely friendly hostess. Great sized bedroom with very nice personal touches, such as the port (if we had wanted to), very comfy... More
