We stayed last week and the renovation work was still going on. It was a little noisy at 8am on our first morning with a bit of drilling upstairs but other than that not too much disruption. We were given one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was nice. Its not the Ritz but its comfortable and clean and... More

Recently reburbished, I was the first to stay in the particular room I was booked into. Happy to say the room was brilliant, no problems whatsoever. Bed was comfy, so a great nights sleep. Shower was awesome. The staff were all really pleasant, and seemed to genuinely care if I was ok. Location was fantastic, a few minutes (if that)... More

The hotel is very well placed close to the Town centre and amenities. It is currently undergoing a full refurbishment, but in fairness that hrdly impacted on us at all. The staff were excellent, clearly very aware of the potential for disruption caused by the refurbishment. Parking is a problem. The hotel has about 6 free spaces, otherwise all the... More

24 - 29 July 2014 We pre-paid to stay at this Travelodge for our 5 night trip to the Northwest as we'd stayed at other Travelodges recently and were pleasantly surprised by their upgraded hotels. However this place HASN'T been upgraded and paying up front was our first mistake. I really don't know where to begin about the list of... More

We found staff very helpful even offering to help with luggage etc. We had no problems but if you must have somewhere quiet , then this is not the hotel for you with the railway and a main road in close proximity.

I have stayed at a few Travelodges and as long as you know what to expect they are great for the odd night. That was until I stayed at the Warrington Travelodge. This is a truely awful example even for a budget hotel. We were given a family room on the side of the hotel that is directly on a... More

What can I say, whole stay was awful. Room needed painting due to stains all over the walls. Very visible stains! Windows needed a very good clean inside and out. Bathroom had rust on shower and mould all round the bath. Bed was uncomfortable, creeped and springs very loud with every movement. To top it off got a rude awakening... More
