Good value £53.50 for two, good breakfast, good view of the amazing Unilever factory. Only minus is that Wifi doesn't work anywhere in the building, a very common con I think. 7 mins walk from centre of Warrington, Golden Square, Parr Hall, Pyramid etc

Oh dear, i would love to be positive, however this place is so old and dated and really needs modernising. The decor is outdated. No one was on reception when we arrived. The guy who eventually arrived said he would show us to our room then simply said its up there! Whilst showing us the 24 hour access point round... More

Thank-you for your review. There are just a couple of things that need addressing! Firstly, when someone "Finally" checked you into the hotel, and said they would show you to your room, this means they will direct you, not take you by the hand and open the doors for you, whilst carrying your bags. I'm not sure of too many... More

Stayed in room 9, as stated in other reviews the decor is a bit dated however the room was clean, and the bed comfortable. A hotel with a bit of character, and cheap as well. Breakfast was included, full English was nothing startling, but acceptable. Did not eat here as the prices were so cheap, steak for £9 a bit... More

I booked this hotel after I got creamfields tickets as an early birthday present. It was just a cheap room for the night for myself and my boyfriend (£90) I couldn't find anywhere cheaper. When we arrived the man at the desk was very friendly, we got the key to our room and headed upstairs, we stayed in room 9.... More

I booked the Pattern Arms for a surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary party for my parents as they had their wedding reception at the hotel. All the staff I spoke to going from my original enquiry to the night of the party were really friendly and helpful. The buffet they provided was excellent with plenty of choice and plenty of food.... Room 42 is a death trap for families especially in the warm weather. Bars on the floor level window were wide enough for our 3 year old granddaughter to try and climb through 3 floors up. DANGEROUS!!! It was a very hot night the night we stayed and because we needed window open to avoid suffocation we spent night awake... More

Once again, I had to find an overnight stay at short notice and was surprised to get a room. The staff that I dealt with on the telephone were very friendly and efficient. I drove past the entrance to the rather small car park and had to do a u-turn up the road. The building itself is not without some... More

This is a nice hotel on the whole but definitely in need of an update, it's good value for money though, food is very cheap but if I'm honest not the greatest I've eaten, I paid £44 a night for a single occupancy room which was quite spacious (room15) but it was like stepping back in time, yes it's an... Came in here for a drink whilst waiting for a train. Ordered a pint of carlsberg and it smelt rotten. Tasted even worse. Took it back to the bar and the barman refused to accept that anything was wrong with it. Asked for a replacement and offered to pay the difference but he would not accept that. He was rude... More

Thank-you for your comments, despite them all being falsified. You complained about the Carlsberg stating that it "Tasted Of Farts" Not sure how you would know this but each to their own. I tasted the Carlsberg and there was nothing wrong with it. Almost the whole pub was drinking it and not one other person complained. You had drunk half... More

I would not recommend this place for luxury the whole building needs refurbishing including the room I stayed in although it was nice and clean this place is falling apart in various places. The food in the evening was nice and priced very reasonably and breakfast was nice too. It's a shame really the place could do with redecorating in... More
