Nothing particularly fancy about this place, but I have to admit I quite liked it. Located opposite Warrington Quays station it will suit many travellers. Stayed a number of times and ate in the restaurant, which did good, honest hearty food. Bar prices were good by the way!

Where do i start? Dated and tired, sarcastic and rude staff, awful breakfast and the TV in my room didnt work. It claims to have free WIFI but this didnt work in my room either. Although cheap this is no excuse for poor customer service or uncooked bacon!Definitely travelodge for me next time.

I have stayed at the Patten Arms on two occasions now for work. For the relatively cheap price it offers value for money. The interior of the building and the rooms are very dated, and while in keeping with the age of the building, some of the rooms would definitely benefit from refurbishment. The bar is very welcoming and they... More

Stayed at this hotel 3 nights and I'm again satisfied. The guy at the reception desk was very helpful with looking for my talisman which I left in the hotel last year. Very big thank to him!!! Very appreciate your help. The room was very clean and breakfast nice. I will definitely come back.

Easy to find as its opposite a rail station. Nice n cheap Inc breakfast, room small, need to be a superman type to close old fashioned window, holes floor boards, very large holes. Everything in this hotel squeaks or growns, staff are friendly bathroom was adequate and rather modern. Good free parking short walk to Warrington Town Centre, lovely market.... More

Grand building with character but a little worn now, rooms clean enough but a little jaded. Noise from the factory opposite was minimal. Ideal location for the Warrington Bank quay station. Staff very attentive and breakfast was okay. For 48 pound a night it's value for money,

I travel between Warrington and London and frequently pop into the Patten Arms for breakfast. I've been coming here for years but I've never actually spent an evening at the hotel. Last night was my first and I totally loved it: the atmosphere, the charm, and the friendly management team and staff. The Patten Arms is fabulous hotel and I... More

Just had 1 night here, en route to a further location. Easy to find, and park, checked in with no fuss, room was a little on the small side, with bizarrely no plug sockets, informed reception that we weren't happy and got a different, more spacious room right away. Very friendly staff, chatting to us in the bar area, along... More

We recently stayed here for one night, en route to our holiday destination. My trainspotter son actually chose the hotel, as it's directly opposite Warrington Bank Quay station "which is great for freight-spotting", according to him! So, it's super-convenient for travellers and is also just a short walk to the town centre. Outside, the hotel looks quite charming - it... More
