Nice bar and restaurant areas you walk, very modern and inviting. Evening food was extremely overpriced and was of poor quality, I presuming all frozen heated up in the microwave. Reception staff were unwelcoming and not very accomodating. Rooms very basic however overall were ok for 1 night. Tiles on bathroom floor loose, be careful not to stump your toes... More

Expensive for Travelodge quality accommodation. Food and wine expensive Rooms are clean, there are no irons in the rooms - most clients are business travellers, furniture tired. Staff are very helpful.

The hotel is generally good and the staff very personable and helpful. Some elements could be improved as follows: *menu- limited and has not changed in 4 months *car parking- only allowing car parking to 3pm for free does not help business people who leave at 5-6pm *TV- sometimes do not work and very clumsy to operate

Despite the fact that the room was very modern in design and decor I have some serious misgivings about the value for money. At the 'best online rate' of £122.55 per night (breakfast excluded) I would have expected the main part of the room to be better furnished than my student rooms in the 1970's. However, I do admit that... More

This was accommodation booked for me so had done no research. Was pleasantly surprised on a large industrial park just off the motorway which provided easy access. I had a double room on the first night with a very comfy bed good bathroom and facilities including WiFi. The other nights had to move to a twin room but no problem.... More

The hotel is ideally located for the Birchwood business Park, off the M62 and M6 motorways. We're also just 5 miles to Warrington town centre for shopping! Or just over 10 minutes in the car to the Trafford Centre. Both Manchester & Liverpool cities are around a 20 mins drive, so a great base for families to stay on a... More

Mixed reviews, but generally happy with my stay. All the staff were absolutely lovely, from checking in, to checking out. Even the cleaners always greeted you with a smile and hello when you saw them in the corridors. Had breakfast on one of the mornings, and there was a really good selection that I was spoiled for choice. However I... More

Dear xxJenJenJenxx Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review of your stay with us. Fantastic hotel, but a bit out of the way. Was recommended to stay here as it was 'close to creamfields', but ended up spending £210 on taxis, for one day at the festival. Couldn't have asked for a better room though (although we got a twin when we asked for a double) we weren't too bothered. Vending machine in the... More

Hi Yasmin R We are only 10 miles away from the Creamfields event, but I do know that the taxi fares varied considerably. Glad to hear the vending machines came in handy when you returned in the early hours. We hope you had a safe journey home and are well rested after the festival!! Best wishes Nicola More

Since it got taken over by Penta, the restaurant and bar area has been transformed. Otherwise rooms remain as is, with new large flat screen TVs and relatively spacious, though the free wifi was not stable at all. Service is pretty good, with staff very polite and helpful. Though it feels like there too much going on,in the bar and... More

It's always good to hear from guests that have stayed before and after we became the pentahotel. The bar, restaurant and lounge area have all been refurbished to help create a relaxed, sytlish and modern feel. All the rooms feature a large flatscreen TV with complimentary Pay TV - inlcuding Sky Football. We had experienced some challenges with our WIFI... More
