Being our local pub it has always been a shame that the food never matched the beautiful pub and surrounding village. Visited a few weeks ago and a total transformation on the food front. Excellent quality food, beautifully presented and delicious - very competent and helpful staff - we feel very lucky to have this on our doorstop! Well done... More

We went to the Rams Head, and found possibly the finest English Country Pub this side of "The Rocky Mountains", staff superb, at tentative and polite, Food, probably some of the best that will ever pass your lips, fresh, succulent, and hot, Drinks, superb selection, Pub it 'self, spotlessly clean, toilets the same, wonderful atmosphere, ask your self the question,... A lovely lunch on a Saturday afternoon after a walk along the canal. Well positioned with great food and such a lovely place. An extra member of staff would have been welcomed, but whether a local pub could anticipate 2 large parties is questionable anyway.

We had lunch with friends. Not been in the Rams Head for years. We had the fish and chips from the £9 lunch offers. You also get a drink. We all had red wine. Everything was excellent. The service was great, we were lucky enough to get a really sweet and attentive server. Would highly recommend.

This pub is real gem and I am so glad I found it. The reason for the visit was for a evening meal and we were not disappointed. I had braised lamb which was extremely tender and my friend had belly pork. We were looked after by a Ellie who could not do enough for us. Take visit to appreciate... More

I have been to the Rams Head Inn on many many occasions, and is one of my favourites bar/restaurants in Warrington. I have had many of fond afternoons & evenings with my friends. And eaten many times, and for most of the times the food has been excellent, and presented well, with a good variety & quality food on the... More

It's doesn't at 1st seem that this pub has rooms. But hidden upstairs are 4 or 5 well furnished and clean rooms. The bed was real comfy. But what makes this place a 5 star rating is the service. Upon arrival was greeted by smiling faces and staff who couldn't do enough to help make my stay feel like home.... More

We had lunch, I had the two course menu for £ 16.95 sounds a bit expensive but you do get a bottle of wine for yourself(my kind of place). The food was lovely and the two guys saving were very nice. Would highly recommend a visit and the pub is stunning, only down side is the toilets are not in... More
