A lovely lunch on a Saturday afternoon after a walk along the canal. Well positioned with great food and such a lovely place. An extra member of staff would have been welcomed, but whether a local pub could anticipate 2 large parties is questionable anyway.

We had lunch with friends. Not been in the Rams Head for years. We had the fish and chips from the £9 lunch offers. You also get a drink. We all had red wine. Everything was excellent. The service was great, we were lucky enough to get a really sweet and attentive server. Would highly recommend.

This pub is real gem and I am so glad I found it. The reason for the visit was for a evening meal and we were not disappointed. I had braised lamb which was extremely tender and my friend had belly pork. We were looked after by a Ellie who could not do enough for us. Take visit to appreciate... More

I have been to the Rams Head Inn on many many occasions, and is one of my favourites bar/restaurants in Warrington. I have had many of fond afternoons & evenings with my friends. And eaten many times, and for most of the times the food has been excellent, and presented well, with a good variety & quality food on the... More

It's doesn't at 1st seem that this pub has rooms. But hidden upstairs are 4 or 5 well furnished and clean rooms. The bed was real comfy. But what makes this place a 5 star rating is the service. Upon arrival was greeted by smiling faces and staff who couldn't do enough to help make my stay feel like home.... More

We had lunch, I had the two course menu for £ 16.95 sounds a bit expensive but you do get a bottle of wine for yourself(my kind of place). The food was lovely and the two guys saving were very nice. Would highly recommend a visit and the pub is stunning, only down side is the toilets are not in... More

We were so looking forward to spending a night in the village my husbands old stomping ground! Booked a room at The Rams Head several weeks ago and paid a decent amount. On arrival greeting by a pleasant young man on the bar who took our bag as our room wasnt ready. Came back at 5.30pm room ready what a... More

Room a bit tired and dated, Food Mediocre, Service okay. Building itself is beautiful and very picturesque, Not sure whether this pub is part of a chain but it felt like it was. Would love to revisit the area but won't stay here again.

I met a friend in Grappenhall for lunch and we had intended to go to the nearby Parr Arms but called here as it has lots of parking (Grappenhall can get very congested on the cobbled street, especially if there is a wedding on at the adjacent church). Its a while since I've eaten here and was pleasantly surprised particularly... More
