My room was small but the decor was immaculate. The bathroom had a retro-style bathtub on a platform slightly raised from the rest of the floor and was spotless. My wife and I stayed at the York for our annual One night get away from the kids. The room was huge immaculaty clean and very stylish, the power shower was great and towels and cleaning products were first class. Stayed at the York on business for one night. Can echo the other reviews that the room decoration was excellent and clean. Had a large bay room on the front of the hotel and the only improvement would be that the blinds in the room were not adequate to block out the hotel building’s blue lighting. Enjoyed our stay at the York Hotel. Good location, in a nice area of the city, but only 15 minutes walk to the centre.
