At £35 this place is great value. Keith runs a tight ship; it's clean and the breakfast is excellent. Plenty of free parking. I also like the quirkiness of the place; look at the photos and you'll see what I mean. I will return.

Great find full of unusual things such as the suit of armour in the hall and flapper lady in the drawing room. The rooms are lovely also. The road is very noisy by the hotel but I had brought earplugs anyway so was fine. Definitely beats staying in a faceless chain.

Loved this hotel. Lovely white crisp clean bedding and comfy bed. Excellent shower again immaculately clean. Flat screen TV and tea and coffee with added chocy biscuits. Keith professional pleasant yet unobtrusive. Excellent breakfast. It's also in a very nice area of the city.

A large group of us stayed here for one night over the weekend as we were competing in the Tough Guy Nettle Warrior Competition. We were greeted by Keith who was a fantastic host and could not have been more accommodating towards us. The rooms were all well equipped with everything you could need and plenty of tea/coffee etc. The... More

Great place to stay, could not fault anything, best breakfast you could ever wish for and worth the extra £7, lots of communal area, lovely tranquil garden, safe off road parking, friendly owners and staff, very clean rooms, plenty of tea and coffee in rooms.

We only stayed three nights as a convenient location for meeting up with friends before embarking on a week on a narrowboat. Clean, bright, good breakfast -excellent value. Most of all is Keith's warmth, hospitality and wit......that's what made it special and what we will remember most.

I seldom stay at the same place, I like to 'try' different Hotels/B&B's. Having looked around for an alternative, once again I opted for The Barons Court Hotel, since it 'ticks all the boxes' for me. Lovely Arts & Crafts building with original features, gardens and carpark. Clean, tidy, pleasantly decorated rooms with TV, beverage tray etc., modern en-suites with... More
