On arrival I was pleasantly surprised, on the outskirts of one of the biggest cities in the midlands is this charming Edwardian/art-deco period property. Parking was fine but worth noting entrance is on Fowler Street not Goldthorn Hill. Garden was decorated nicely. We were welcomed in a friendly manner by the manager and quickly shown to our rooms. As a... More

The first positive things I would like to say about Barons Court Hotel are that it offers a late check-in time and is easy to find in the dark, since our sat-nav took us right to it. Once inside the hotel you could spend hours walking around the common rooms and hallways checking out the wonderful mix of antiques, collectibles... More

We stayed here whilst visiting Wolverhampton to see Jason Manford. The hotel is lovely, very clean and welcoming. The decor is quirky and there is a lovely large lounge area. We stopped here as we didn't want a standard premier inn and we were not disappointed. Very good value for money.

Easy to find, SatNav to the door. This hotel is well located and though on a main road, not too noisy, though I guess that rooms at the back are quieter. Our room was immediately above the sitting room (10) As the hotel started life as a home for a local manufacturer at the turn of the 20th Century, it... More

I would never stay anywhere else in Wolverhampton I've now visited six or seven times and all the rooms I have stayed in have been clean with good facilities. The manager, Keith is very helpful, friendly and produces a good breakfast. Fantasic value and have already booked for the next time

At £35 this place is great value. Keith runs a tight ship; it's clean and the breakfast is excellent. Plenty of free parking. I also like the quirkiness of the place; look at the photos and you'll see what I mean. I will return.

Great find full of unusual things such as the suit of armour in the hall and flapper lady in the drawing room. The rooms are lovely also. The road is very noisy by the hotel but I had brought earplugs anyway so was fine. Definitely beats staying in a faceless chain.

Loved this hotel. Lovely white crisp clean bedding and comfy bed. Excellent shower again immaculately clean. Flat screen TV and tea and coffee with added chocy biscuits. Keith professional pleasant yet unobtrusive. Excellent breakfast. It's also in a very nice area of the city.

A large group of us stayed here for one night over the weekend as we were competing in the Tough Guy Nettle Warrior Competition. We were greeted by Keith who was a fantastic host and could not have been more accommodating towards us. The rooms were all well equipped with everything you could need and plenty of tea/coffee etc. The... More
