My husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay in Wolverhampton as we had been invited to a wedding reception at the Goldthorn Hotel which was fully booked. I came across the Baron's Court hotel and was so pleased. The owner Keith Kirkham was very helpful, and as soon as he saw I walking with the aid of a... More

I came across this hotel by accident while looking for somewhere for myself and 6 friends to stay on our visit to the midlands for a reunion. The reviews were good and it had the bonus of ample twin rooms available. And it didn't disappoint. Our welcome was warm and personal, including an escort to the rooms, a practice rare... More

Thank you for your open and honest review. Showing people to their room is important to us as it allows us to make sure everything is in order for the guest, but more importantly it is polite and helpful and keeps Keith and Ryan fit! We cook breakfast freshly to order so we are glad you enjoyed it. We do... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending RAF Cosford airshow for which it is ideally situated being less than 10 miles away. The hotel is set back from a fairly busy road but although being a light sleeper and having a room at the front I was not disturbed. Keith the manager is a friendly efficient guy and very helpful.... Thank you for a very fair and comprehensive review and we all hope you enjoyed Cosford! We do try to make the interior as interesting as possible, paying homage to the tradition of this 1909 building with some interesting artefacts. Again, thank you for complimenting the breakfast value and quality and we hope to see you again in the future.... More

I stayed here recently with my baby and left a very satisfied customer. The rooms were clean, staff very pleasant and helpful and the freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. This is a fairly small hotel, no frills but it has everything that you need. If I ever come back to Wolverhampton I shall be staying here.

We stayed at Barons Court for the weekend whilst we were visiting family in the area. This was not our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Lovely Arts and Crafts house, comfy and clean bedroom and bathroom and good choice for breakfast. Ample car parking and free wifi. As before the staff were friendly and welcoming. Looking forward... This is the second time I have stayed at the Barons Court and it won't be the last. It's quirky, comfy and has little luxuries too. The breakfasts are good and you get to pick what you want. I love this place. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Sincere thanks for this review and also coming back so often! We hope you like the traditional and quirky dovetailed together - and I am glad you liked the breakfast which as you know is always cooked freshly to order. Hopefully when you come back next time the fence will be re-stained and staircase beautifully varnished by Paul. We are... More

Very friendly manager, excellent breakfast, room a little dated - but fantastic value for money! Just an overnight stopover for myself and son. Not visiting Wolverhampton this time, but previously found it a pleasant city. Don't let preconceptions put you off.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Tired of generic chain hotels, we shopped around and found this little gem. On arriving, we discovered this beautiful Arts and Crafts building with a welcoming owner, which was full of period features with some quirky touches (I loved the suit of armour). We had a lovely comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress... More

Thanks for reviewing us after your stay! Keith and the staff strive to create an environment for everyone to enjoy. Yes, we like quirky, yet traditional. We booked this hotel at the last minute for a surprise visit to a family ruby wedding. On arrival we met the manager, who was both accommodating and very friendly and showed us to our ground floor room, which we had specifically requested. Thanks for taking the time to write a comprehensive review Jeffandtom. Quirky, traditional, with a great breakfast - couldn't have put it better myself. It's a challenging juggling act keeping the old dovetailed with the new, but we keep on working at it. Keith, Ryan, Kath, Stella and Sonya send their best wishes to you and thanks again. John More
