Despite the title, the moorings is a lovely bed and breakfast which hosts clean rooms, hot showers, a friendly staff, and quite a decent breakfast. The wifi could be slightly faster and perhaps some of the carpet should be replaced, but other than that I cannot fault their hospitality or cleanliness. I have attended both hotel and catering school and... More

Was very impressed as soon as I entered. Lovely inviting and warming environment, brilliant host and service throughout! Very impressed with the size of the room, plus the added furnishings - the room was also spotless! Walking distance to all the major establishments, lovely views with only the sea a few minutes walk away. Lovely food - most definitely be... More

Stayed for one night in May. Room was spotless & spacious and well equipped, Sarah was an excellent host too. Will return again if we get a chance. Only down side. We found the room quite cold but having said that we come from a North Queensland climate so are not used to the UK's Spring which is much colder than... More

A lovely welcome with lots of helpful information provided right from the start. Sarah is an excellent proprietor who takes real pride in her lodging. The furnishings are very much what you expect of a b and b in England with Victorian roots. The addition of two comfortable chairs was welcome. Our room also had a good table for doing... More

We had just spent 3 nights at this cozy establishment. The place was lovely and our room was very comfortable. Walking distance to all the major establishments. Sarah was very friendly and made us feel right at home... Definitely worth checking out!

I booked this guest house for my retired friends to visit me in Worthing and stayed with them while they were here. Sarah was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. All our rooms were ensuite, spotlessly clean and very well furnished. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and portions very generous. I would recommend this to anyone... More

We were here over the Easter weekend. The family were very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and a good size. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The special touch on Easter Sunday was the Easter eggs thank you. Would happily recommend The Moorings to anyone. Thank you from Sue, Mike, Diane and Jimmy.

I have just finished a second stay at this comfortable, hospitable guest house, conveniently situated just off the main coast road at Worthing. The beach is only a minute or two away and the sea-front walk into the centre of town takes about ten minutes. There is also a large public swimming pool nearby and a lovely park. The guest... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on a trip that was a combination of business and leisure. Sarah and Colin made us very welcome, with a cup of tea on arrival and lots of advice about how to make the best of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast included everything we could wish. The... More
