Hotel is a bit tired in need of refurbishment, some cobwebs in the bathroom & loads on the balcony, apart from that the room was adequate & clean , shower small. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly & helpful, parking on site, only a short stroll to the sea front. Stayed for two nights , Saturday/ Sunday with my wife... More

First the pros. The owner / managers were on holiday so the hotel, bar and restaurant were being run by a very friendly couple from The Midlands. They were very welcoming and chatty while we stayed (we were there for a sponsored walk and stayed two nights) and were particularly kind as I have a number of food intolerances so... More

Room was OK and clean and owners polite and helpful. TV was tiny though as you can see from pics and only 3 stations BBC1,BBC2 and ITV. Come on seriously. I pulled the wardrobe on myself too when I tried to open it (needs to be secured to the wall or the latch made a little easier to open) and... More

We stayed at this B&B for a night during a bank holiday weekend. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was big however there were few things missing like no bedside tables, lack of sockets next to the beds and no shower head holder in the bathroom... Also there were two beds put together not one big double bed... More

A huge, huge thank you to Rose, Paul and staff. We and our guests had an amazing day. Guests who stayed at Beechwood Hall were full of compliments of their whole stay. Our reception was amazing. Rose made everyone feel special and helped my new husband and I throughout. I was so happy and relaxed when I saw how they... More

We had our wedding reception here and stayed one night in April 2013. In all the excitement i must have forgot to give this hotel a review which i deserves. All the staff and management worked really hard for our special day and i cant fault it. Most wedding receptions would set you back a fortune but what we received... More

Used the hotel for a one night stay, while attending a family get together, we were shown to our rooms by Rose, the room itself was very nice, nothing spectacular, but served the purpose, breakfast the following morning was very good quality, and the staff that we met were very friendly and welcoming, I received a phone call the day... I took my mum in here for Lunch. Everyone who worked there was friendly and the food was fantastic. I had steak and kidney pie with some lovely perfectly cooked vegetables. I have also been in there for Sunday lunch and that was just as good

Spacious room but a little dowdy. Bathroom was carpeted and really needs renovating. This is not a real 3 star hotel more like a two star. Breakfast was basic. I like to see a menu. I expect to see a menu at a three star hotel. All I got was a curt"full English"? Public spaces have been redecorated but not... More
