We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for one. Didn't have time to check out the room properly on arrival as we had to dash off to an appointment - went straight to the restaurant on our return (which was OK in the evening but dire at breakfast) and only really saw the room when we went to bed. It was thick with dust around the edges of the carpet, in the curtains, on the lampshades, thick spider webs in corner behind the TV (which we couldn't get to work), dried spillage of drinks on furniture. It was so dusty I had an asthma attack and although the staff member I dealt with was very apologetic and offered to have the room cleaned, I couldn't risk it not being done properly. The bed was lumpy and the bathroom badly needed upgrading. The shower over the bath was so fierce a child would probably have been knocked over - the curtain couldn't keep the water in and the floor flooded - not an inch of it that wasn't under water. There was no problem getting a refund from the hotel... more
