As a working Contractor, it is unusal to frequent such a prestige establishment - but I did last Monday. With guest numbers in Worthing at a seasonal high, at the end of summer, imagaine my surprise when I get a text from my employer apologising for late notification of my accomodation, late on Monday afternoon, (they forgot to book,) and... We booked the Burlington about 6 months ago to hold my wife's 60th Birthday party on 6th Sept inviting about 50 friends and relatives. In addition a number of us stayed overnight on the night of the event. Anna, the function manager, effectively managed the arrangements from the booking date and kept us well informed throughout. The event itself was... More

I recently stayed at the above hotel with my husband from Saturday 23 August to Monday 25 August. We had a fantastic room 302 with a lovely sea view. We had a couple of lovely sunny days. From the moment we phoned to try and access our room early we were treated well. Receptionist was on phone once room was... More

One night only, lovely views, lovely room, good breakfast (esp mushrooms) helpful staff. Was a choice of staying somewhere with a cheaper rate for two nights or one night at a 'slightly better' hotel. As it was our 10 year wedding anniversary went for the better hotel one night. Good choice as it was a perfect stay. Bathroom with Bath.... More

Stayed here on really hot day. No air con and fan was average even with the window open. Decent room and breakfast. Evening meal was average. I would recommend you go out if you want a decent meal for two. I stayed in as I had work to do and it was convenient. The bathroom had patches of black mildew... More

As a wedding present my wife booked us into the hotel as a wedding present. The room was beautiful, decorated with heart shaped towels and petals on the bed. Our wedding was at St Mary's Church in Goring By Sea with the reception at the church hall. We did not get much to eat so we phoned for a bottle... More

My sister and I travelled to Worthing to see friends and wanted a hotel near the seafront (for walks and runs) but also one that would be peaceful. We asked for a quiet room when we booked and that's what we got. We loved the fact that the hotel had its own character - it may not have been modern... More

There's no parking at the hotel so unless you arrive after 6pm, you will need to pay for off street parking. (I think I paid a small amount (20p) for 40 minutes parking). The restaurant has a sea view which is relaxing on the English Channel. The receptionist sounded like she was autopilot, probably the effect of repeating same check... More

We used this hotel as a base while we visited relatives in the area. We had a family room which was huge, with sea views. Breakfast was included. Full English and/or Continental. Friendly staff. Not a good hotel for disabled as there is no lift. There is no dedicated parking, but you can buy parking permits got local streets. Overall... More

I travelled down to Worthing for business and was put up in the Worthington for one night. I had a nice stay and the room was decent with a sea view, big TV on the wall more than suitable for late night Simpsons and Family Guy showings and even a fan. Considering the humidity and lack of air con, the... More
