There are lots of great hotels in this area but I was swayed to stay in the Burlington because of reviews on another booking site. Whoever wrote them didn't stay in the same place as me. I walked into an extremely tired hotel with the smell of cooking fat in the air. The receptionist was helpful explaining about the car... More

I stayed here for 1 night, 20th Jan 2015. They only had one room available, which was called an executive double so expectations were reasonably high, at a discounted rate of £80, normally £100 I think. The room was large and airy with a super king size bed and the usual facilities. However, the bathroom was tiny and the shower,which... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a romantic weekend break at the end of November 2014. We had an executive room on the first floor with seaview. The room was big and comfortable but basic in furniture, bathroom spacious but basic again. The room was clean, a shame we could not go on the balcony. Breakfast was good... More

Stayed there 3 nights during my business trip in Dec, 2014. I have had no time to book and check reviews, and relied on my travel agent asking to find a hotel that is on walking distance to our client - and this was my mistake. The location is great on the seafront, but Room, Bathroom, Breakfast - terrible, also... More

Have stayed at this hotel twice now when visiting relatives. Rooms are large, comfortable and warm. I booked an executive room last weekend but found it no different than the standard room i booked first time so would recommend not paying the extra cost. Both had side sea views. Breakfast was freshly cooked and staff were all helpful and friendly. I will... More

Fantastic building in a great setting on the seafront. However, room was below standard for the cost; cheap furniture, fixtures/fittings and basic bathroom. Breakfast not good either; cheap juices, hard butter which like the marmalade and jams was the Litchfield brand and usually a sign of penny pinching as was only one poached/fried/boiled egg per breakfast. Building has no lift.... More

We stayed for one night because we were going to a birthday party being held at the hotel. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be told we had been given an upgrade to an Executive Suite (Room 202) which was a large corner room with great sea views. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. During the party the staff... More

The facelift of this once-grand building is impressive. Those who run similar premises along the south coast (yes, you Lions Hotels in Eastbourne!) should come and see how these premises have been transformed in a sympathetic and elegant style, Perfect seafront location, ample parking for £3 for 24 hours in streets nearby. Warm and helpful welcome from receptionist. Needless to... More

Good service. The receptionist who greeted me was very helpful. Room was very nice and I was upgraded to a family room. Nice TV, shower was quite weak and difficult to control the temperature. Breakfast was decent. Started with continental and then had a full English. Great location with superb seaside views.

I was visiting a friend and stayed overnight at the Burlington. It has had a facelift and I had a really nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here again if I stay overnight in Worthing. Well done to the team.
