The hotel was very clean and the my room was very cosy. The amenities were of good quality and there was a book explaining how to use the features of the room and the services offered. I stayed as a delegate for a conference and the hotel staff dealt quickly and efficiently with the extra work such an event must... More

Stayed here as part of a coach tour. Was very impressed overall, They were making improvements whilst we were there. But it never interfered with our stay. The room was a little dated but believe being updated, still very comfortable and clean, The food was excellent, with a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts along with coffee... More

Just returned from a good holiday at the Chatsworth. Although extensive upgrade is taking place the work force were excellent in keeping work and time within reasonable periods. When completed this hotel will be of a good standard being well placed for bus stops within a 100 yards also main shopping area. Excellent disabled access and first class sports room... More

I had just left a very bad experience at the Highdown Hotel nearby where everything was diabolical (see my review for more disgusting details and avoid), so what a pleasure to move to this Hotel where Quality and Service are still valued highly. I could not fault anything in this experience (even down to providing umbrellas for dog walking duties),... More

We were fortunate to book this very nice hotel through GN Holidays, who take over the entire hotel for the weekend. We booked approx 8 weeks prior and requested sea views and rooms close together, both requests were granted. The hotel is very old, there is a major refit going on and it was difficult to get to some rooms,... More

The hotel has been in the Clinch family for many years & the attention to detail is very much in evidence, with the family members always around. Although only a 3 star, the hotel offers very good facilities for guests to enjoy, with the bedrooms also well appointed. Nice little touches like a trouser press are to be found, as... More

Such a shame such an ornate building could be still stuck in the 80's with peach stippled walls and scary bedding.the property seems to have stuck itself into a time warp that no man can retrieve it from. Don't get me wrong most off the staff are helpful. And the breakfast staff can be a little overbearing with there camp... More

We stayed here for a bridge weekend, arriving Friday and leaving Sunday after lunch. On arrival the staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable, we were overlooking the gardens and also had a sea view. It is a listed building, still having the tall sash windows, and on Friday night there was some traffic noise,... More

Excellent hotel which we have stayed a number of times. Very close to the town and next to the sea and pier. Rooms with sea views and/or Steyne gardens. Good department stores nearby and pedestrianised level shopping areas. Stops for Coastal buses are close by, running every 10 minutes. Eastwards to Brighton in under an hour. The same westward to...
