I made this booking last minute online and got a great deal, better still on arrival I was offered an unsolicited upgrade from a single to a double with a seaview. Lots of healthy choices for breakfast. A very British experience, our American cousins would love this place.

Me and my partner stayed in one of the rooms overnight. They charged me £70 for the room, I thought this was a decent price from the pictures I saw on the Internet. However I got something completely different to what I expected. The room was very claustrophobic. The carpet was faded. The walls were chipped and needed repainting. In... More

They were charging £60 extra for a sea view. There was no sea view as the window was covered in netted scaffolding. We ended up with a garden view but the windows were so dirty there was no way you could see through it. The floor was slanted and it had a weird buzzing noise all night. The walls are... More

Smelly horrid room. Threadbare carpet, old decor with tiny TV. It looks like this place survives on the older clientele but they surely deserve a bit more for £100 a night. Disappointing as great location and looks good from the outside. Won't stay again.

Stayed here on a bridge weekend - a big group of about 100. Given that, I felt that the hotel coped reasonably well. The location of the hotel is excellent - almost opposite Worthing pier and an easy level walk to shops and restaurants. Anothe big plus is the staff - from reception to waiting staff to cleaners: all were... More

The hotel is lovely and in great position, close to sea fron and the shops. Service in the dining room was terrible, Staff did not seem to know what they were doing and long waits to be served. Food was excellent though. It was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in as all you could here was noises from... More

We have stayed here several times over the last couple of years and it really is a charming seaside hotel with a great location just off the seafront and overlooking Steyne gardens . The best thing is the family rooms which have a separate room with bunk beds for the kids and their own tv, which they absolutely love. The... More

We stayed here for the Brighton marathon last night and we were very impressed. The receptionist was really helpful and very polite. The rooms were classic and maybe in need of an update, but otherwise very clean and tidy. Being a Sunday breakfast isn't normally served till later but the hotel kindly started breakfast at 6am. This was very much... More

We stayed here on night on the Easter weekend. Very good offer for Easter! We were warmly welcomed and check-in was very smooth. The food in the restaurant was really good (we had both dinner and breakfast). However, during the dinner we waited for 10 minutes to even get a menu and then we had to ask for it! Restaurant... I have been going to Chatsworth for a long time now, and can only say positive things. Although the staff seem to change fairly often (despite a few have stayed there for a good number of years) they are always very friendly and personable. Chatsworth is a warm, inviting and family run hotel that is located on Worthing's sea front,... More
