The room was basic (no problem in that) however, only a single chair and a very small desk/table for furnishings so nowhere to put our belongings other than on the floor. The window was loose and draughty and rattled constantly letting in noise from the street and the calls of seagulls throughout the night. The bathroom was tiny and the... more

Please travelodge clean your hotel, have filled out customer survey form pointing out the areas of housekeeping that need attention. Room 10, is a Seafront room, very bright & spacious but can only decribe the inners of this hotel as a down market Youth Hostel. I know....you get what you pay for but, don't compromise on cleaniness & rooms empty... more

Excellent location on Worthing Seafront, just yards from the beach. I got there at 6.30pm and left before 9am, so parking right outside the front of the hotel was free (6pm to 9am). Welcome (after waiting at an empty desk for a couple of minutes) was friendly. The room was as you would expect from a travelodge, basic (nice wall... more

Requested in advance a seaview room with a bath and that's exactly what we got. Lovely lady on reception was very welcoming. Didn't try the food but were able to get ice from the bar to cool our drinks in the room. Even though it was October, we had great sunny weather on the Saturday. When we returned to the... more

Two of us in two double rooms spent a total of 9 nights at this hotel, spread over 3 weeks during September 2009. The first week, arrived after booking online, the picture of the room i booked showed a bath. I like a bath after a hard days work, imagine my surprise when i got to my room and there... more

room clean and lovely sea view, nowhere to put any clothes, so if you were staying more than one night you would be living out of a suitcase. we had the evening and breakfast deal, very limited menu, most of which not available, we ended up having to have something off the kids menu in the evening, no coffee either,... more

No frills, what you'd expect. It met our basic needs. I would stay there again if the price elsewhere was an issue, and try to get a sea-view next time! I prefer basic and I really don’t like frilly B&Bs! However a few issues could be improved upon. Customer Service & parking: Apart from one friendly man on the reception... more

I base my ratings on the fact that it is a Travelodge and not a 4 or 5 star hotel. The rooms are basic, which is what you pay for. We stayed for two nights 21st - 23rd August 2009. We had three rooms between the five of us, one double, one single and one of the disabled units. Our... more

It faces the Sea and is close to shops and restaurants. Didn’t have any trouble with the management as some other reviewers have had. We called ahead and requested 2 sea facing rooms and received them. The rooms were warm and although there was lots of windows, only one would open. (about 6 inches) We went to Argos and purchased... more

My wife and I stayed here on the 7th and 8th August and were pleasantly surprised. Some review have been a bit scathing but we found our stay to be quiet and enjoyable. The travelodge is very central to Worthing, far more than some other more expensive hotels. It's clean and smartly decorated, it looks like it has had a... more
