This hotel has two extremes...for Delux Room, read large. Our Room at the back of the hotel was large, but poorly appointed. The bathroom shower was an old shower curtain, standing in the bath. conservatory furniture, in need of a refurb, and man made fibre bedding/pillows. We had every iontention of checking out of the hotel the following day...BUT then... More

We stayed this weekend at this hotel and I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about, the staff are all lovely and helpful, check in was smooth and rooms were very clean with clean linen and soaps, shampoos etc in the room. Lots of coffee and tea available, yes the floors are creaky but its a old hotel... More

Stayed here recently for one night as part of a marriage party. The hotel staff were very professional for the wedding - organised, attentive, friendly. Decoration was very good, layout for the wedding was good, food very good, drinks expensive (but then I guess they are in most pubs). Distinct lack of decent wine. They'd be well advised to revisit... More

Spent two nights here recently, room was OK, in the annex and spacious enough. Good points - WiFi signal very good and no issues, room was large, quiet, nice big mugs and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Bad points - Pillows flat and virtually useless If there are any issues I have it's with the attitude of some of... There is nothing wrong with this place but there is very little competition in Yeovil so perhaps they don't have to try too hard. The food: Nice enough. The Bar: Small but just you would expect in a small hotel, a couple of locals and a couple of travellers. The staff: Receptionist (female) really good, friendly and gave the impression... More

Stayed here for 1 night on a recent business trip to the area after a recommendation from a colleague. There are a few things which were really good here: - the food is excellent (I would give five stars for the food quality) - the hotel and room itself were nice enough, given that there isn't loads of choice in... Thank you for your comments: All i can do is apologies personally and on behalf of all the team Unfortunately i was not made aware of this until i read your review today. All the staff dealt with the situation extremely bad, they should have offered you a different room, they could have turned the heating off, the receptionist should... More

I have had another pleasant stay at the Yeovil Court Hotel. Once again friendly service on check in, room was spotless and the service in restaurant was attentive. The breakfast was particularly good this stay with perfectly cooked poached eggs and very good quality sausage. Still my hotel of choice for when in Yeovil.

Overall it was an ok stay, I didn't expect much on arrival and it lived upto expectations unfortunately. The room was a good size but very dated and very very basic. A few added touches would have made it a lot better. Mattress was very dirty and needed replacing, the room had a sofa that was well worn and been... More

Thank you for your feedback We are somewhat confused about your comments. As a return customer which left us a good review in September 2013 we cannot understand why your expectation were low on arrival The room you stayed this time was a larger double with same quality facilities. Our rates have not increased for the past 3 years. Both... More

I stayed at the Yeovil court hotel during a business trip. The road in front of the hotel was being dug up which made the entrance tricky to find. On first impression the hotel looked and felt inviting. The colleagues on reception were very welcoming and polite. My room was a single in the main building which was over the... More

Thank you for your comments Unfortunately the road work and the noises from this is completely beyond our control and whilst it has being an inconvenience at time and the hotel has suffered from it, we unfortunately could not have done anything to avoid it (we do strongly believe that once this is over hotel and guests will be benefiting... I went to Yeovil Court with a group of friends. I had not been for years but it has been too long as it is so good. The soup was delicious with a lovely hot bread roll, lovely fresh veg with main course by which time i had no room for a pud but my friends were delighted with theirs.... More
