Excellent hotel, rooms lovely, they have thought of everything Only Criticism. And only a small one, the self service breakfast area is too small to accommodate more than two guests at a time , should be expanded a bit more, but wonderful breakfast and vigilant courteous staff, would def stay again just beautiful

The is a great little find I discovered by mistake last year I now always make a beeline for this hotel when in Yeovil. The rooms are superbly decorated and the beds are massive and comfortable (useful when you are 6'5") Breakfast is more than plentifully and is a massive selection of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses etc -or you can... We stayed here during the very hot weather 23-27 July. The hotel is quoted as being soundproofed but as the heat was so intense we had to have the windows open to get air in. Unfortunately the hotel is on a main road, opposite a pub and next to the delivery yards for the high street shops - the noise... More

The best bits are the really helpful staff and the comfortable beds in large bedrooms which have good shower rooms. Staff found window spray and cloths without asking, when my husband asked for water for car washers as we'd run out and the windscreen needed a clean. I wasn't keen on bathroom soaps, shower gels etc which were all in... More

Boutique hotel with excellent sized rooms, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. Staff welcoming and efficient - would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Breakfast is a very good continental "serve yourself" with the option of a cooked breakfast for a small extra charge.

We loved staying at the keep. The location was great, central to Yeovil. The help yourself breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and presented. Perhaps the best feature was that we lost our key on our second night. Arriving back at 12am we assumed this might be a problem. Not at all, the owner was more than willing to... More

We recently stayed on two separate occasions. The owners, staff and service were all friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good, choice of fresh fruit, cereals, cheese, cold meats, etc. As we booked late, we ended up staying in three different rooms, all clean and well appointed with powerful showers. Two of the rooms had a bath in the bedroom,... More

Stated at The Keep on business if one night. I am so glad the hotels that I normally stay in were fully booked as I wouldn't have found thus hidden gem. The rooms are fantastic. Plenty of room, comfy bed and armchair, great size TV. The bathroom was luxurious and the power shower invigorating first thing in the morning. The... More
