We booked a night at The a Keep, as we were en route to Cornwall. We are a family of four, with 2 children aged 9 & 5. We arrived at the hotel and were able to check in early, which was fantastic after a long journey. We had The Tower Suite, which is quite possibly one of the most... More

Very nice place, well located for town centre, just a couple of minutes walk away, excellent staff, warm welcome, comfy room. I really don't want to criticize it, but .... we had room 3 right on the front of the hotel. The room is very warm and so the windows need to be left open for ventilation and cooling. The... More

A modern comfortable hotel and excellent service. They do not have any restaurant, but recommended The Green Room around the corner with excellent food. They kindly booked a table for us. The only downside to the hotel was the noise from the pub across the road on a Saturday night.

A nicely run hotel in a town that has little to offer. The hotel offers good quality beds and rooms with good staff who have a pleasant outgoing demeanour. The breakfast is continental, you can ask for a cooked at an extra charge. The breakfast is good enough not to need the cooked and the hotel and catering is clean... More

This was a last minute break for a family of four. We arrived and we're greeted by a really friendly lady. Offering to help with our bags. She showed us round. The room was fantastic. It was really big. There was a oversized bath in the room. A little kitchen area with fridge and microwave. A lovely wet room. Really... More

My husband I decided to leave the busy roads near the coast and head inland to enjoy the beautiful countryside. After checking the map we headed for Yeovil knowing nothing of the area. Our hotel was a very welcome surprise and we decided to have an extra night here. Friendly staff welcome us and offered tea and cake which was... More

Warm friendly welcome and a free slice of coffee cake! Large convenient room and the location of the hotel was perfect for all the local restaurants and shopping. The most comfortable bed and super shower. Breakfast was self serve with plenty of choice - and if required they would provide a cooked breakfast for a modest amount extra. The girls... More

The Keep scores 5 stars for rooms which are contemporary and stylish. Thick towels, brilliant bathrooms and comfy beds. The staff were professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast. Loved the dining room. Cannot recommend it highly enough and would def stay again. PS. I was even given a yoghurt and fruit to take home as a... More

Me & my partner stayed in the Keep apartment for one night to visit some National Trust places, it was in a fantastic location just a short drive from a couple of the houses & gardens and a short walk away from Yeovil centre with shops and plenty of restaurants. The girl we dealt with was very helpful and friendly,... More
