I used to stay at the Farmyard with work, sometimes booking quite last minute. Gemma was always really accommodating. The apartments are lovely and so to was one of the Barns, cant remember the name but it was just as beautiful. Most of the time I would try and take a family member with me on my trip as it... More

My wife and I stayed at The Farmyard in Yeovil for one night in early July, on our way to Devon & Cornwall. Yeovil is just a few hours from Kent and is a good place to break the journey down to the South West. We last stayed at the Farmyard (which is a working farm) two years ago, in... More

An overnight stay while we travelled down for a family meal at Chetnole and the apartment was as good as previously , plenty of room and a big thank you to Gemma for the use of the I phone charger as we forgot to bring our own.

We stayed at the Farmyard for just one night as we went to a wedding in Yeovil and it seemed to be a good base to stay for us, our 2 daughters and their partners. The apartments are exactly what other reviewers say, very well designed and built, with enough facilities to meet your needs. The view is gourgeous and... More

We stayed at The Farmyard for two nights en route to Cornwall. You take an apartment in this architect designed complex and it is quite breathtaking! The bedroom is upstairs and overlooks the most gorgeous views taking in a black slate sitting- out area surrounded by Lavender bushes and a little lake where you can fish or just sit and... More

Peace and quite and he most amazing view I have seen in a long while. I don't drive and this place offered accessibility to the rail stations as well as making me feel as if we... More

Arrived at the Farmhouse with my wife for a two night stay in Opie Cottage. On arrival we were greeted by the owner and everything was in order. It's a lovely part of the country to stay in... Opie cottage itself is in need of a few minor updates to the bathroom but otherwise is, as the web site suggests... More

I cant say just how lovely this place is, another evening away with work and yet it feels like Im on holiday. The views are amazing from my floor to ceiling windows and the ducks and cockerals are outside my door. What a way to wind down from work, sitting on the dock by the lake watching the birds and...
