We arrived late - but were even so well received including being waved into the parking lot by the owner who kept on the lookout for us. Cosily furnished and comfortable - the beds being a bit short for me if anything to remark at all. This hotel has quite a remarkable restaurant, too bad we were here only for... More

A family pre christmas get together and what better place than the Green Room, in Yeovil. Not only the best eating place in Yeovil, but probably in Somerset. We had a set lunch, £12.00. This gave us superb pea and spinach soup/ parsnip curry soup, followed by a beautifully cooked roast beef and roast potatoes, with a wine gravy. The... More

We all had the set 3 course dinner. Everything was of a very high quality. So tasty and perfect size portions. Service was good and I would highly recommend this restaurant. 3 course diner is £14.00 well worth it.

I stayed here whilst visiting family in Crewkerne for onnight. The room I stayed in was small but adequate. Bathroom was a good size and shower was very powerful. Breakfast was very good, and popular with non residents. Parking was at back of hotel and a little difficult to find. In the morning I had been blocked in but member... More

The property was ok for one night stay in the town. Perfect location. Our room was ok but ended up with the kitchen/dinner, which from choice we would have preferred a much nicer room. Even if we had taken the opportunity to have used the facilities, there would be no way as the cleanliness was very poor indeed. Looked like... More

Stayed here for one night with my partner as we were attending a wedding at nearby Brympton Place. Car park round the back was a bonus, check in was super easy, we had a continental breakfast included, but chose to 'upgrade' to a cooked breakfast for a few extra pounds each. Onto our room, which was upstairs, very adequate for... More

Fantastic room and food. Staff so friendly. Cooked english Breakfast lovely and worth the extra. Dog was allowed on request. Quaint old pub/hotel. Loads of character. Free parking at the back. Well located for local attractions.

Room I which we stayed in was clean and comfortable but very small it was more like a box room. We were above the smokers yard which was horrible as we don't smoke and had to have the window open as it was hot. The breakfast Was excellent though. We could not get a drink in the bar on an... More

We stayed at The Green Room for an evening when we were in Yeovil to celebrate a friends birthday. The service was great, from check in to all interactions with staff, through to breakfast and check out. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were always friendly and happy. We were shown to our room, and asked if we... More

Nice welcome, shown to room (unusual), pleased with room overall. Slept very well, was a muggy evening but windows opened nicely and was quiet and peaceful outside (maybe it gets more raucous at weekends, it's a very central hotel). No air con but didn't matter because of window. Didn't eat evening meal here, but the breakfast was very good; made... More
