Carol is a delightfully friendly hostess, and her accommodation is beautifully clean, comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delicious, especially the plate of chopped mixed fruit. As experienced B&B owners ourselves, we set high standards, and they were met completely. Only sorry it was a 1 night stay. Thank you, and good luck with the lambing !

We couldn't ask for anything more when we came in on a rainy friday night. Friendly Carol, Andrew and their son. Large bedroom (the oak), Executive breakfast at your choise, and then the finest marmelades, cheeses if you want, etc. Beautiful area, too. Elmsted Court farmhouse can be reached by 3 or more roads, we tried 3 of them. A... More

This was the first B & B we had ever stayed in. The operators are welcoming and courteous giving you ;its of helpful information about where to eat. The house is a facsinating medieval farm house with an Norman church right across the road. The area is lovely for walks and drives. The room was charming and the clean bathroom... More

We arrived there a family of four and actually had both rooms, We could have not asked for anything better. Very friendly and helpful owners, they gave us the added adventure of helping to feed the calves, my daughters could not have asked for more. The only problems could be that it is a bit tricky to find, so try... More

I stayed here for three nights in June 2013 and was greatly impressed by the quality and comfort of the room and the dining room. It is a traditional livestock farm with sheep in the fields all around it. The husband is the farmer and the Carol, the wife runs the B&B and generally looks after her family and does... More

Very comfortable room, and a tasty breakfast with lots of choices. My grandson enjoyed helping to feed the calves and walking in the hayfields on the top of the downs. We were made very welcome, and really enjoyed our stay.

The previous ratings of excellent are entirely justified. We stayed in the Oak room and could not find any matter worthy of criticism. The breakfast menu was most comprehensive and the food of excellent quality. The landlady was very charming and could not have been more helpful. A place to be recommended.

I've stayed three nights in the Oak roam. A very large room and comfortable bed. It was handy to have a fridge in the room (worked very silently). Excellent full breakfast with lots of choices in a wonderful authentic room. The owners were very kind and helpfull. Absolutily to recommend.

We (my husband and 6 year old son and myself) stayed here for 1 night in July en route from ferry to elsewhere. We all wished it could have been longer and didn't want to leave. The room was spotlessly clean, very thoughtfully decked out and extremely comfortable with a super sized king bed which was delicious in every way... More

Great farmhouse medieval property off the beaten track but handy for Ashford International - we were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were furnished to a very high standard at a reasonable rate - great alternative to a hotel stay with quiet charm and character. Many thanks
