Although we received a warm welcome from the proprietors, Warren Cottage was a disappointment. The room was spotlessly clean but the whole house was infused with a very unpleasant chemical smell of quite unnecessary air freshener. The en suite bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel or guest house but it was adequate. We could... More

I was visiting someone in the hospital and needed a place to stay that was close by. This place was exactly what I was looking for. If you want to stay somewhere conveniently located just down the road from a Tesco that has a lot of charm, then this is it. The room I stayed in was cozy and I... More

Myself and my wife mid 30 were looking for an accommodation in Asford, Kent and did a google search for a bed & breakfast. We found that splendid 350 years old typical cottage hotel full of mystery and charm located just behind the William Harvey Hospital. Our room (the number 2) was furnished with a comfortable TV bed, and equipped with... More

The best part of our stay was the breakfast and the cheerful farewell on leaving. The beds were comfortable. The welcome left a lot to be desired, the rooms are in a very poor state and needed a good cleaning. I think the Warren has seen better days, and it was rather a sad little place.

After we had a very serious accident on the M20, we had no car and were coming straight from the William Harvey hospital where my wife had been treated for a broken wrist.. Carol and Geoff took us in at very short notice and helped us get back on our feet and ready to return home, in spite of Carol's... More

A late (same-day-arrival) booking handled courteously and efficiently. This approach by the friendly couple proprietors and their 'little helper' grand-daughter continued throughout my stay. A couple of small queries were dealt with promptly and 'nothing was too much trouble'. The olde-worlde character of the beamed cottage construction added charm and, as to be expected, my single room was compactly proportioned... More

I could not have found a better place to stay when my wife was in the William Harvey Hospital for 21 days.It is close to the hospital, has wonderful proprietors, an absolutely scrumptious English Breakfast and a cat that visited me every morning. My wife and I plan to visit within a year.

Our booking was made after reading it in MCN welcome book. It was a giant rip off. insisted on more cash for a twin room which we had already booked on line. we weren't given breakfast, since we were leaving for the first train through the tunnel and the owners would not be up, they would not leave anything laid... In June 2011, I booked a room at the Warren Cottage Guest House, and gave my booking in time of 7.00pm. When I realised I wouldn't make that time I phoned the guest house to say I would be late - no reply. Arrived there at 9.00pm to find guest house locked up, no answer on door bell, no reply... More

With a great location just off the M20, Warren Cottage could not have been better placed for visiting my wife at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. Great for those heading off to the continent I'd imagine
