Once you finally find Eastwell Manor it’s quite impressive, although I later discovered that much of what you see is faux ancient. By that I mean it isn’t as old as it appears. Still it’s grand, if not a bit palatial, for us Americans not used to England’s landed estates and great country houses. I had some difficulty finding the... More

Thank you. We an English Country House Hotel with a four red star rating of which we are extremely proud. We do our very best to accommodate the perceived needs of our American and European friends and guests but we do not want to make changes that would impinge on the perceived expectations of guests who frequent English Country House... We had stay there two occasions, once in the main building and another time at charming cottage with my in laws. Lovely countryside around the manor , so many delightful walks and afternoon tea is really a great treat. We also tried the restaurant and fish menu was delicious.

Thank you. We do have a wonderful afternoon tea team with lovely smiling young ladies, delicious home made cakes made by Kendra Hayter and team, all supplemented by the tea being served from silver teapots. More

A beautiful old building, dating back to pre-tudor times. Beautifully restored and decorated. The host was very friendly and took good care of us. Furthermore we had an excellent breakfast. The only drawback was a defunct radiator in the bathroom which was very cold. But that's only temporary.

Have been lucky enough to stay here a few times this year, and each time I go back, I'm reminded of how much I love it. We stayed in one of the mews cottages. It clearly states on the website that in the multi bedroom cottages, there are communal kitchen and living areas. Luckily we were the only ones staying... More

My partner and I stayed on 13/09/14. After arriving and walking up the drive way, with our bags to check in, we then had to trek back out..into the car and drive to the other end of the grounds. Once we got into the cottage and realised that it had two seperate rooms with a shared communal area (not explained)... More

We are delighted you enjoyed the spa area and we hope you had use of the large, heated outdoor pool. We note you made your booking (on the same day as you arrived) through an on-line agency where you were fully advised that you would be in a cottage that could be shared although you had your own en-suite facilities.... We stayed in the Violet Cottage and to our disgust is smelt horribly of damp/mildew, sadly we found badly stained/carpets & furnishings. The sofa in the lounge was disgusting and impossible to believe it could have been cleaned in many years - no doubt contributing to the the pungent smell of the cottage! We were greeted by LOTS of insects... More

These guests really just wanted a bed for the night as they were attending a wedding elsewhere and were particularly disgruntled that we could not let them into the accommodation early as it required servicing on the departure of the previous occupant. There has been correspondence with the contributor but presumably as we did not give a "freebie" for their... More

Excellent venue for a all day conference. The ambiance of the hotel is next to none. Good size meeting rooms in baronial setting with vistas of parkland you will enjoy at coffee break and lunch. The food in the restaurant was equally above average conference fare. Just off the M20 it makes for a accessible venue.

Eastwell Manor is in a lovely setting and appears to be well maintained. The staff were in my opinion and that of my fellow guests, exrtremely helpful courteous and polite, couldn't fault them at all. The property's immense grounds on closer inspection could probably benefit from some tlc although this did not detract from its charm, The room used for... More
