The Travelodge in Ashford is ideal specially if you are going to be using the Eurotunnel. Its convenient and the staff are happy to help. the rooms are not particularly special BUT they are great for a place to crash, they are neat and tidy and there is a reasonable cafe in the building so you dont have to go... Having to visit Bybrook in kent for a 3 day course i was booked into the Travelodge ashford. On arrival which is just off the M20 The hotel is surrounded by plenty of eating houses i.e maccie ds pizza hut frankie and bennies kfc plus more. The carpark is alittle small. The reception was very basic but clean and the... More

This was the third time we stayed in this hotel. It's a very practical place to spend the night when you have an early start to catch the train to France. I know they are undergoing a refurbishment at the moment but it all seemed a bit lackadaisical - the bathroom looked as if it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned and... More

We stayed for one night in July in anticipation of an early start through the channel tunnel. We arrived around 8pm, checked straight into our room. I had booked well in advance and paid £29. We were a family of 4 and the kids were quite happy with the pull out style sofa bed. The room was clean and the... More

OK for an overnight stay en route to tunnel. Situated in retail park with choice of fast food outlets. I might say it was comfortable and convenient enough to stay again but I resent having to pay £20 extra for dog. Nowhere on the continent were we charged except in Annecy (9euros) but that was very superior accommodation to Travelodge.... More

I wanted to get away from the hassle of Christmas in London so booked Ashford Travelodge for Christamas Eve and Christmas Day - leaving Boxing Day morning. The hotel was excellent and the staff were super - a credit to Travelodge - the two young men on reception were simply excellent. My mother and I booked two rooms which we... More

The best thing about this travel lodge is the staff. When the lift broke down soon after we arrived, the staff were more than happy to move us to the ground floor, one even helped move the luggage. We didn't try the food, the place was a bit run down (in fairness they are having a refurb next month). The... More

I use this Travelodge as a convenient stopover before or after Eurotunnel. I think things are improving, though reading other reviews I may just have been lucky. I've found the carpets, furniture and fittings in a better state of repair than previously. Nice new fluffy towels and even a soap dispenser in the bathroom were a nice touch. Good to... More
