We stayed here as part of a family group and were having a reunion nearby. It's been a while since I stayed in/at one of these hotels, but it was 'only one night', and 'everyone else was staying', I thought. Bathroom - damp and musty, bedroom - sparse, small bed, attached hangers (my pet hate), TV - didn't work, no... More

Stayed here overnight before going to Lydden Hill for the World RX. Great location; just off the motorway & located in a leisure park with a cinema & many places to eat. Small but adequate room with a comfortable bed. If you can, try & get a top floor room as it sounded like there was an elephant walking about... More

We stopped at this hotel using it as a stopover on route to the channel tunnel. We had just completed around 300 miles to get here so were more than well pleased with the spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable room where we could relax. We had a great nights sleep feeling refreshed for our next part of the journey. The... More

Fantastic location for travellers like ourselves using the eurotunnel, couldn't really be more convenient. I'd read reports of people being disturbed by noise and other guests but we had a wonderful quiet room in the annexe, exactly what we needed to recover from 2 days driving. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and the grassed area behind the annexe... More

Ground floor room right next to the lift shaft so it sounded like there was a lorry running all night. Bikers chatting all night outside the window so not much sleep had by residents of the downstairs rooms. Staff were friendly

Having read the reviews which talked about late night families running around - I can say that we had a very peaceful night here. It is basic, but we were prepared for that. Everything you might need. TV didn't work but quite glad it didn't - so in time wasted! Plenty of tea and coffee (ask for more downstairs) would... More

I frequently use many other Travelodges and have always found them to provide adequate return for the money spent. However, as this one is used by those travelling to and from the continent, and unless you are situated as far from the stairs and lift as possible, then you are going to be woken around 4am as people shout after... Thank you for sharing your experience. It is important to us that our customers have a great sleep with us so we are truly sorry to hear you were disturbed by noise, we do ask all of our guests to keep their noise levels to a reasonable level and our staff will patrol corridors regularly to be aware of disturbances.... I'll start by saying it's one of the most comfy hotel beds I've experienced in a chain hotel. Just a shame we couldn't take advantage of that fact. We stayed overnight to catch early Eurotunnel as it's just two junctions away. Unfortunately we struggled to get much sleep due to the fire doors not being soft close so loud banging... More

All staff were excellent, clean and comfortable rooms, would stay again if in this area. Good facilities around hotel and location was ideal for our visit. Easy to find and would recommend to visitors to the area.

Stayed one night en route to Channel Tunnel before short trip to Bruges. Hotel is on a leisure park directly off the M20. Plenty of places to eat including the Travelodge itself. We chose the Beefeater which was quite acceptable. Had a corridor end room on 3rd floor, no noise whatsoever, certainly not from the motorway. Usual updated Travelodge furnishing.... More
