This was a late booking on a budget deal and what a surprise: we were in the 4 poster suite! Room 14 is great - windows to front and back, a dressing room and a bathroom with claw footed bath. The decor is simple but effective, with a couple of antiques in the dressing room. The bed is comfortable and... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. All the items in the restaurant are either cooked on site or locally produced, they are cooked and served to a high standard. It is a petty you did not say on the night and we could have sorted your complaint. More

we were staying for one night only. we were going to be late checking in, the lady on the phone said absolutely no problem and assured me all was ok, giving me the number to get through the main door and leaving my key and details available, so as not to feel I had to rush! the room was comfortable... The hotel is a large stone manor house type with an interesting internal layout. Debbie, my lovelies, gives you a warm welcome. Breakfasts are good and plentiful. An evening meal there can be a bit lonely (time of year?). The room was warm, clean and quite large with plenty of hot water. Bedding-wise I would prefer duvets to blankets and... More

A friendly guest house, five minutes to walk into the town centre. All the rooms are beautifully decorated to a high standard, I looked into the rooms on my way to breakfast, the cleaner at work. Huge choice on the menu for breakfast, something for everyone, no need to go hungry. Looking forward to my next visit

This is an unusual review as I didn't even go to this hotel thank goodness. I booked this hotel for valentines night for my wife and I in good faith with a special request for a bottle of prosecco via booking.com. It stated no payment was required until arrival which is normal for booking.com It also had a free cancellation... More

Our policy with all the agents we use is Full Payment at the time of the booking, I have checked with Booking.Com & it is clear that payment will be taken at the time of the booking, however a full refund will be given if cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival. I was not rude but just clarifying our... More

My partner and i recently stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast. The room we was in was very sweet, nice pine bed with a comfortable mattress . The room was comfortably warm. We was facing the main road but was not disturbed by the traffic. We woke to the smell of breakfast being cooked. We decided to treat ourselves... More

I don't often write a poor review but over all the 4* Easington House (B&B) does not deserve a higher review. We stayed in room 5. I'll start with the nice things :- The welcome was very good, the car parking is excellent, the breakfast (if you are early) is very good, the water was always hot & the proximity... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, however I disagree with your comments. We Deep clean every 8-10 weeks, one of the cleanest guest houses in town, I have checked the bed throw & it is spotless !!! The heating turns off at 11pm & comes back on at 6.30am. The guest house is over 600 years... More
