We have just returned from a brilliant stay at The Castle where we went for a birthday celebration. We stayed in the fabulous Kings room on the first floor of the tower which has the most amazing view towards the north west - we were even rewarded with a firework display from Warwick castle in the distance! We ate in... More

Enjoyed a lovely stay at the newly refurbished Castle at Edgehill. Great spot with fantastic distant views. We ate breakfast in the restaurant by the open glass doors which made best advantage of the view. Breakfast was excellent with lovely pastries, cereals, cooked breakfast, selection of jams and regular coffee top ups. Toast was a bit disappointing on thin sliced... More

Booked a one night stay at the Castle and stayed in the Sir Edmund Verney room, as the larger rooms were booked. Room has plenty of character, and consists of a small side room, the bedroom and separate bathroom area. The whole building looks impressive the bar and dining area being well presented, with spectacular views over the countryside. We... More

A return visit and another impressive experience. This time we went for lunch. The Deli provides a great selection of cold foods and the ploughmans was excellent! The desserts continue to be the crowning glory of any meal at the castle, highly recommended.....

We came to the Castle for a birthday celebration, the food was delicious and presented to perfection. The staff were not only efficient but friendly and enthusiastic within their work environment which was lovely to see. I would definitely recommend the castle to friends, family and to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience

We have visited the Castle several times over the last few months and have been very pleased with the service and food, but yesterday when we visited for a special occasion we felt the menu was not up to the usual standard and the choice of type of food somewhat restricted. I think they call it fine dining, I felt... More

Underwhelming lunch menu, very poor choice. The staff were like rabbits caught in headlights. They were unable to cope with the volume of trade, completely ignored my husband at the bar trying to order food and when they did notice his existance cut him off mid sentance to take someone elses drink order. The food when it arrived was mediocre... More

Thank you for your recent review. Understanding the situation fully. I would like to clarify a few details with you regarding your recent visit on Monday 21st July. Monday as a general rule - is one the quieter days within the pub \ hospitality trade. We made a decision to have two new members of staff start the training programme... More

Since a visit over a year ago I have to say that the transformation that has took place is out of this world, coupled with the views the castle is a mystical place. I was however a little disappointed on a recent visit firstly despite calling and reserving a table for a Saturday night it appeared that the reservation was... More

Service so slow we left after 2 and a half hours with our main course plates still sitting in front of us. The food was average at best. Foams and jellies are great but if you don't have the ability to do them well you end up looking a little stupid.

Thank you for your recent review. "Wow" - not really sure what to say to this, This is your first review on trip advisor I see?, There is no mention of when you ate, what you choose, and very little else for us to go on. I have checked all our notes from our de-brief meetings from after service, and... More
