We stayed here for 7 nights, had a nice clean room-e-suite and a perfect host who spoiled us with an excellent breakfast to the order. If you are looking for a place to stay with personal attention and close to a village centre, don't look any further because this is IT.

Good room, tastefully decorated breakfast room, ample parking, friendly owner who cooked a lovely breakfast. Walking distance to the centre of Banbury, close to Oxford and Blenheim palace. We were there for two nights and had a lovely stay, value for money.

We stayed for 2 nights at this B&B. It is located some 10 minutes walk from the centre of Banbury where there are plenty of places to eat. It is situated on the main road which has busy traffic and effects sleep quality if you leave the windows open. If closed then its OK. Our room on the first floor... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks for work and it was great! I travel around a lot for my job and some places can be a bit hit or miss - this was one of the hits! The whole place was immaculate and had a nice homely atmosphere. We were well looked after by the owner who was incredibly helpful... More

A real home from home. Lovely warm greeting, comfortable bed with great quality bedding. Beautifully kept and fabulous breakfast cooked to perfection. Everything was spotless but homely - we really enjoyed our stay having driven from France we were able to relax and recover. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed one night at the Avonlea guest house and had a really comfortable night's sleep on a big brass bed. The b&b is spotless and is conveniently situated near the centre and shops in Banbury. It is on the main road and as we were in a room at the front, we did experience heavy traffic noise. If I... More

I travel around the world for my job and so I've stayed in my fair share of B&B's and hotels. I always like the idea of a cosy B&B but rarely are they up to scratch. A lot are run down and in need of a good freshen up.. rooms tatty, shower not working properly etc. This place is nothing... More

We were greeted by the son saying his mother was away and he was in charge but he said he couldnt cook and did we want a cooked breakfast? We found our own way to our room up some really steep stairs and as wife had just had a knee replacement we found it a bit awkward. Everywhere was exceptionally... More

I apologise if my Son didn't show you to your room as he would normally do this, and would help take your bags upstairs too, I have mentioned this to him to make sure he always does this in future. I do have a downstairs room, for future reference, if you find the stairs difficult, and if you do come... More

Such a welcoming guest house. Clean and well maintained bedroom. Lovely breakfast. Full English cooked to perfection. Nice to have somewhere to safely leave our bicycles overnight without putting them back in the car. Obviously popular as full both nights we were there. The landlady couldn't have been friendlier

A small, 5 bed guest house. Adequate, comfortable rooms. Our shower was spacious. Tea making facilities,TV and free wi-fi.
