Formerly the Holiday Inn Express, the new Premier Inn at Banbury has left the former establishment in its wake. Newly refurbished with a modern restaurant, excellent meals and friendly staff it would have to be the place to stay in Banbury. Special thanks to Kirsty who not only looked after us when we booked in but also looked after us... More

We stayed here for two nights (Friday & Saturday) in July when attending a wedding locally. The hotel has been refurbished in the last few weeks (going from a Travel Lodge to Premier Inn) which is superb in that everything is new and spotless although not so good in that works are still taking place so there is noise during... I checked in for two nights on Friday last week, the new type of electronic check in was fairly easy to use and the place was very clean! My room 135 was excellent spotlessly clean and really comfortable; the bed was really nice and I slept really well! The staff were friendly and helpful the only small gripe was the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights when attending an event at Silverstone. We've stayed here before when it was a Holiday Inn Express. Rebrand and subsequent refresh has meant the bedrooms have all been refurbished, there is a new automated check in process and the restaurant has been significantly improved (not haute cuisine but good enough staples, including usual breakfast... We were house hunting, so needed a base. This Premier Inn was perfect. Only opened 2 weeks ago and work is ongoing, but that was no problem. The hotel has all you need in the evenings, quiet room, bar, restaurant and a great breakfast in the morning. In the day time, the site has a Costa Coffee, Toby Carvery and... More

On our journey home to Glasgow from Belgium decided to break the journey with a stop over at the Premier Inn Banbury (M40 J11). Having stayed at many Premier Inn's, have to honestly say this is the best and once its fully operational will surely be if not the top, certainly amongst the top Premier Inn's in the UK. From...
