Uplands House is a wonderful getaway with the most welcoming of hosts set in the beautiful countryside. Highly recommended! Accommodation is spacious and comfortable - with great food as well! Tip: Cozy up the fireplace for a lovely, relaxing evening!

Having taken a short break in the Cotswolds we ended our stay at Upton House for our last evening. Having stayed with Poppy and Graham in the summer we knew exactly what to expect. On arrival we were met with a very warm welcome from Poppy so lovely to see her again. We had the four poster room with such... More

Returning north after Christmas we belatedly decided to stopover in the Cotswolds for two nights en route and Poppy was most accommodating in agreeing to have us on the Sunday after Boxing Day – especially as her family guests were departing that same day. Tea and her excellent lemon-drizzle cake welcomed us on arrival and as we had opted to... More

I was being treated for a long past birthday and my lady friend chose this lovely B&B in a delightful setting complete with 4 poster bed! Certainly not the usual roadside B&B but rather a special treat for a special person. Poppy, whose home it is, is delightful, kind and helpful. She made us welcome from the start and offered... We thought this place was one out of the box. The house is elegant and charming and infused with the things and personality of the owner who is warm, interesting and a great host. Dinner (she is also an excellent cook) is round the table with the other guests. This can be a bit daunting but she made it easy... More

Wonderful setting , lovely service and excellent food. Well worth a visit at anytime of the year. A great base to explore the surronding area. The rooms are a delight and the gardens are stunning. Thanks for a warm welcome and a great stay.

I wanted somewhere special to take my parents and certainly got that. It provides everything you could want and more. Tea and cake on arrival, plenty of great facilities in the rooms and the most amazing dinner and superb breakfast. Also the atmosphere created by Poppy, she really is someone everyone should meet. Some of the little touches are really... More

stayed at Uplands last night for dinner bed and breakfast as a group of 6 for a planned get together . We were welcomed in to Poppy's house as old friends would be . The accommodation is a traditional country house set in lovely grounds. The rooms are all individually decorated and very comfortable with all the little extras that... More

Uplands House is a serene slice of heaven in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our hostess, Poppy is a delightful and charming hostess who was a wealth of information for whatever we wanted to do. Her hospitality was grand as well as the food. It was a shame to say goodbye to this magical place. I would visit again and... More

My partner and I had a wonderful three night stay at Uplands House. We received a warm welcome by our hostess Poppy when we arrived, being shown around the gardens and treated to tea and homemade cake, served in a silver teapot on a silver tray, in the rose garden overlooking the pond. Inside the beautiful 19th century house, we... More
