Had a couple of nights at this hotel. Ideal position, based on an entertainment complex, though this can make the rooms at the front a bit noisy. Meeting friends so wide choice of chain restaurant... so loads of choice. New beds are so comfortable... Bright airy rooms

Stayed Thursday night, greeted by Nicky who was very welcoming, she sorted a minor issue immediately. Clean cosy room and a comfortable bed. Shower was great. Didn't get disturbed at all. Lots of places to eat at close by. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Pretty good, lots of restaurants to choose from, was concerned it was going to be noisy, but it was fine, we stayed on a Friday night and all was well. The hotel was clean and fairly well equipped. Would have liked a hairdryer in our room. Parking was a little difficult near the hotel, we arrived at 7 pm and... More

Have stayed a few times recently when working in the area. Must be noted its the cheapest of the 3 hotels in Festival Park on busy week nights, and it shows. I've stayed in many other Travelodges and this is the worst value for the money - as pointed out the rooms are small and there's nothing in the hotel.... More

Plenty of parking, clean room, decent shower, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Rooms at the front do not get very dark as the car park lights are on all night. No cooked breakfast available, you get given a choice of 2 breakfast boxes, plenty of tea and coffee. Decent budget hotel though not enough facilities for me.

We spent one night during the week at Travelodge Basildon and we have to say the service was excellent, not only we had a nice clean room for a very good value, we had lots of help from Nicky who was on a shift that night. We certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this place for a couple of nights due to work in the area. I'd seen on the site that is was a refurbished Travelodge which certainly pleased me as these places can be a bit tired from past experiences. First of all there is lots of free parking available out the front of the hotel as it sits... More

Despite the fact that the hotel claims to be pet friendly, the heartless manager Kelly [--] hates animals and will not help you make your pet comfortable. The hotel is very basic in every way. If you feed your pet fresh food, this hotel is not for you - it has no refrigerators and [--] will not allow you to... More

The staff were welcoming and pleasant. Room comfortable and clean. Unfortunately we left a kindle in our room and telephone when we got home. Spoke to Sian who was very helpful. We sent a SAE and she ensured its safe return. Thank you to the honest house keeper who found it and to the very efficient and kind Sian for... More

I stayed here in December 2014 with my mum for 1 night, it meant we could have a girly night out at the festival leisure park and then go Christmas shopping the next day. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and check in was quick. We were allocated a room on the top floor to the front of... More
