Friendly people, super comfy bed, lovely bathroom, magnificent scenery, delicious breakfasts where you are spoiled for choice - what more could you ask for? As for being dog friendly, well Harry, our lurcher, was made very welcome. Definitely a b and b to return to! Diane, Sid and Harry. More

Comfortable bed with large, very convenient en-suite. A little cool weather-wise, so we appreciated the underfloor heating being on! This is a working farm, so we were able to enjoy watching the milking herd being moved up and down the lane from the pasture to the milking shed, with all of the accompanying farm noises. Yasmin cooked delicious breakfasts for... More

We enjoyed 4 nights at Fernydale. The room was spotless and facilities were modern. We made use of the conservatory the first night to sit with a bottle of wine and the views were simply beautiful. Yasmin was friendly and very helpful and she made the most delicious breakfasts for us. It is a working farm so you may hear... More

We stayed at this b&b over Easter 2011 and it was fantastic. The location is brilliant for walkers like ourselves and the views are stunning, but more importantly the welcome by the owner was so wonderful and the rooms were so clean and inviting that I cannot recommend it highly enough. The breakfast was also great too. The b&b is... More

went for one night, with my 13-yr daughter. Yasmin was delightful and keen to help. i particularly appreciated her offer for me to use the house land-line, when the mobile reception wasn't good enough for a business call. charming view. relaxing to be with all the lovely dairy cows. More

I stayed at this B&B last weekend with my 14 year old son and our dog on a walking weekend. We found the B&B to be exactly what we wanted, the rooms were clean, there was tea/coffee and biscuits in the room, the breakfast was excellent with loads of local produce, a proper full English with croissants if required! The... More

A very relaxed but professional approach to providing good quality B & B accomodation. My friend & I stopped over during our trip on the southern section of the pennine cycle way. Yasmin - the "landlady" - is a great host and as they don't do evening meals they were kind enough to take us to the nearest resteraunt (which... More
