This is the second time that we have stayed in this very cute little guest house and its lovely, very clean and the owners are lovely they can't do enough for you. Breakfast is perfect , the location for everything is excellent, I would highly recommend this place above any hotel in Buxton.

Had a lovely 3 night stay to tie in with a performance at the opera house. Could not be better positioned for this. Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast and Alison & Kevin are wonderful hosts. Looking forward to next visit.

We last stayed here probably about 30 uers ago and have very fond memories which have been renewed by our latest stay. Unfortunately for one night only, we wish we had reason to stay longer or even become permanent guests. Our room (no. 3) was very spacious, well and comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean had lovely view over the park... More

Stayed for three nights during the February half term break. Great deal at 3 nights for the price of 2. We had a family room (no.6) overlooking the Pavilion gardens, which was a lovely view to wake up to. It has a pedestrian walkway in front of the property, so no traffic noise. Good location for bars and restaurants. Room... More

A really lovely B&B which is perfect for a weekend getaway. The hotel overlooks the pavilion gardens which was really nice to walk around during the day and brought back memories of when I used to go as a kid. The opera house is also in view and has a couple of tea rooms next to the car park. The... More

We chose this primarily because of its closeness to the Old Hall - we were attending a party there - this is a lovely B&B, very welcoming hosts, comfortable, clean plus usual standards tea coffee, etc. just over the road is the promenade park, Opera house, tea rooms & pavilion. In the morning fresh berries and yoghurt, cereals, juices, and... More

Thank you Alison & Kevin for making our stay at your wonderful B&B so lovely last November. Fabulous location overlooking the park, within easy walking distance to Opera House, shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic room at the front of the house overlooking the park. It was so nice to wake up and drink fresh coffee looking out at... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grosvenor House. The location is perfect (a two minute walk to the Opera House) and our room had a lovely view over the park. The room itself was spacious with some beautiful antique furniture. We received such a warm welcome and in the morning the owner seemed genuinely concerned when I explained I... More

I could mention the good location , a walk away from the theatre and pavilion gardens. The free parking by way of a permit from the owners at no charge. The quiet position and laid back but welcoming attitude of the proprietors. The very good breakfast and hospitality tray. All in all a perfect place for the weekend or longer stay... More
