Beautiful building and gardens in spectacular surroundings. Everything is kept just so. Bobby, the owner, went out of her way to make us feel at home. We had a very early start, but she made sure that we got breakfast.

Our party of four have just returned from a wonderful trip to Derbyshire's Peak District, staying at the the stunning Cressbrook Hall, north east of Bakewell. The Hall, once the residence of a wealthy philanthropic mill owner, sits in delightful gardens and overlooks the dramatic valley of Water-cum-Jolly Dale. The views from our bedrooms and the public rooms were magnificent.... More

We chose Cressbrook Hall for our one night stay in Derbyshire as other similar hotels nearby offered a minimum of 2 nights. It did not disappoint, far from it. The setting is beautiful and the hall itself is splendid. Our rooms in the main house were clean, large and very comfortable with magnificent views of the gardens and surrounding landscape.... More

I have stayed here twice - once in the main house which was lovely and once in a cottage, also lovely. On occasions the experience has been excellent. The lady who owns the Hall is remarkable being a mother of 7, grandmother if 12 and also running her business, maintaining the Hall and gardens to a fine standard. She is... More

Amazing place. Staff are fantastic. Would recommend to anyone. Went for my daughters wedding on 21st May, brilliant day, great views. Garden has awesome views and setting. Plus option to wed outside if weather is good. We missed it by half hour so service was inside. Staff catered for every detail without question. Will certainly go back, even for sunday... More

We got married here 21 may 2015. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, it was sunny and the hall is a stunning place, the views are breath taking. The staff were amasing, so attentive and happy to help in every way. Right from the start of booking they helped with every query, question and advice. I would... More

I had my wedding here on 3rd May...Bobbi and Veronica helped me through the 13 months of planning...nothing bothered them and answered all my queries promptly. They truly made this a memorable and best day for all my family and friends. Cottages were lovely too and well worth the money x

What a lovely venue, with fantastic views. Little awkward for disabled as there's a few steps to certain areas. As we arrived there early hoping to get a cheeky drink before the celebrations began but the bar closed until after the ceremony do was lovely to have Pimms & lemonade followed by a cupcake!! Delicious was a wonderful day followed... More

We were staying in one of the rooms in the main building of Cressbrook Hall for our weekend trip to the Peak District. The room has one of the nicest interior and views we've ever seen in a B&B. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Bobby, the manager of the estate is an absolutely charming and helpful person. We're already... More

We have stayed here several times...both in the hall itself, and in one of the cottages with friends. All of our stays have been wonderful...we love the location, the interesting old house, the beautiful gardens...and we enjoy visiting with the owner, too. Our experiences have all been very happy ones: we find the rooms nicely decorated...the views from the windows... More
