We were nicely welcomed by Andrew and the dogs. The rooms were very nice, smartly decorated. Rooms have a tv (small one), kettle with various drinks and free wifi. Shampoo / showergel etc were provided in the bathroom. In the hall there are plenty brochures about the area. We needed to change the feather pillows / duvet - this was... More

Claire and Andrew (and dogs!) were perfect Hosts, welcoming us into their home, with its tasteful black and white themed décor. The room was beautifully arranged and the range of tea, real coffee and hot drinks in the room was most welcome. Beds were very comfortable...white bath robes for both of us and a warm room but we could turn... More

We only stayed for one night on a visit to the theatre in Buxton. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were shown to our room. It was clean, airy and we had a very good nights sleep. The following morning we had an excellent breakfast.

After visiting Chatsworth House in Derbeyshire, my wife and I decided to stay the night at Buxton. Following a couple of enquiries we were directed to "Stoneridge". An elegant Victorian house, close to the Pavilion Gardens. We were made very welcome by Claire and Andrew. A comfortable room. Good food. Excellent. Highly reccomended. Malcolm and Thelma Graham

Stoneridge is situated on a quiet leafy lane, within easy walking distance of a range of restaurants, shops and bars. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and there were lots of well thought out finishing touches. The breakfast was fantastic and included a wide range of fresh fruit, jams and preserves, cereals and a comprehensive menu of freshly... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 10 month old son. Was a lovely room, and they supplied a baby cot for my son. The room was nice and spacious and had all amenities that one needs. The only issues was there isnt a bath, only a shower. Breakfast was nice and Claire went out of her way to... More

I stayed at Stoneridge with my Mum - we were on a walking break preparing for a charity trek and planned an extended stay so we could also enjoy Buxton. The guesthouse is gorgeous and Claire and Andrew really have thought of everything. My favourite touches? Proper coffee with a cafetiere in the room, double duvets on the twin beds... More

We were singing in the Buxton Festival Fringe, and have stayed here before, and were very pleased to be back. Claire and Andrew were the perfect hosts, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast superb, and the location just 5 minutes away from our concert venue. We liked the black and white themed decor throughout, even down to the 2... More

Delightful house, huge choice of breakfasts, perfect hosts, quiet but close to centre of Buxton, - what else could one want in a bed and breakfast. Thanks Claire and Andrew, you made our week complete.
