It feels like an adventure driving towards the farm for the first time, tucked behind a small wood on top of moorland you really feel you have escaped everyday life. Great panoramic views of the Peak District from your room makes your stay at Stoop Farm something special. From the front door you can take a scenic walk in any... More

Stoop Farm Bed & Breakfast is a great B&B, we would definitely stay again. The room was lovely, the food was great, the views are amazing. Karen gave a lovely warm welcome and made us feel at home the whole of our stay. Great location, had some lovely walks, all in all great place to stay!

Beautiful rooms, food and location! We was greeted to a very warm welcome with homemade cakes and shown to our room which was very clean and decorated beautifully. Karen was lovely and made us feel at home. Had a wonderful time here only wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be visiting again!

From the moment that we walked through the door we knew that this would be a special experience. We were in the Hayloft. Karen was a lovely hostess. We were welcomed with tea in the lounge with a piece of homemade lemon and poppy seed cake, which was delicious. The room was superb, with every touch you could wish for.... More

A peaceful, warm and very well presented setting that my wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon in. Karen was the most friendly, welcoming host and created a genuinely relaxed environment. She was always there to help with sound advice about the area and cooked a fantastic regional breakfast, with plenty of other options to chose from. The barn was tastefully... More

We had a great time at Stoop Farm over Easter. It's a stunning location with great walks from the door and lovely views. The guest accommodation is in a self contained building attached to the house which gives a nice sense of privacy although Karen is on hand if anything needed. She's a great host, warm but not intrusive. She's... More

Very warm welcome in a lovely location, quiet and peaceful, even the cat was pleased to see us. Only minor criticism, and not worth mentioning at the time, is that the bed wasn't made during the day. Plenty of walking to be had straight from the door - no need to go out in the car.

I am sorry that you didn't feel that you could ask me to make your bed for you as I would have been very happy to do so. My usual routine when servicing the bedrooms is to turn the bedding down to let the beds air but if someone prefers their bed to be made up daily then they only... More

Lovely B and B. Excellent location, comfortable beds, beautiful linen, plenty of space and very private. Karen was an excellent hostess. Homely cooked evening meal and large choice for breakfast. Brilliant place to unwind and spend time with family. Leo, the cat was an added bonus.

Stoop farm is definitely a luxury B&B. The bedrooms and bathrooms are finished beautifully and the lounge/dining communal area is just as nice. The view over the surrounding farmland is amazing and makes this place extra special. Karen was an attentive host, but also gave us our own space to relax and enjoy ourselves, something that we valued greatly. This... More

You feel like you are driving to the wilds of nowhere to get to this working farm, but its surrounding countryside is so striking and beautiful, and Karen is such a warm and natural host. Our twin room was very clean with a huge wheelchair accessible shower room and next door an easy-going lounge area to sit in with wood... More
