Lovely stay here with friends, wasn't too busy even though it was bank holiday, but you could tell it was popular. Really lovely helpful owners/staff, well maintained, great additional offerings such as hot food and fire baskets.

We arrived to a warm welcome from Margaret at Knotlow Farm. It was fabulous. The room was spotless with a great view. It was quiet and restful which is what we both needed. The breakfast was a feast in itself and all of my dietary requirements were catered for nothing was too much trouble . Margarets attention to detail is... More

Booked at very short notice and lucky to get a cancellation as there are only 3 rooms on a working farm with campsite. The owner was charming and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was huge and there were even ear plugs in the room although it was incredibly peaceful. Breakfast was lovely with a large bowl of beautifully... More

Family Campfire Magic This campsite in my opinion has everything you want from a family campsite. The campfires really made this place magical. On a colder night star gazing with the family the campfire really made this special Upon arrival - Very friendly and helpful owners – and a very well run operation. This place is not too large and... We stayed three nights in this delightful farmhouse B & B. We had the Ash room which was spacious and well equipped. The room had a beautiful view and a lovely ensuite shower room. A lovely rural and peaceful place to stay. Margaret is such a lovely lady and made us so welcome, she was very helpful and served fabulous... More

We hired a Long Valley Yurt for a Monday to Friday stay - more about that later. The farm is in a great location and the owners are super friendly. We had arrived early and Margaret made us a lovely cream tea. You can also order pizzas priced at £8 each which were delicious although we did think they would... More

This was a fantastic campsite, very quiet, stunning location and vista. We received a very warm welcome, loved the site. The showers were warm and clean, the washing up area was really good. We will return to this site

Stayed here for a weekend with friends & had a brilliant time. The campsite is lovely & the facilities are 1st class with hot showers, freezer, hot drinks machine & washing up inside. Slight glitch with our booking as we had been told we could have pitches with & without electric next to each other & were then sent to... More

Margaret the Owner Is one of the most welcoming ladies in a B&B that I have ever met .On arrival you are met with tea or coffee and a bun ,"sorry about the table cloth Margaret" and a exceptionally warm welcome.Margaret is also very witty and game for a laugh ,she also has time to stop and talk to her... Great B&B with everything you can think of included in your room. Fantastic breakfast with lots to choose from including fresh fruit salad made with loads of fresh berries, cereals, yogurts and the best full English we'd seen. Vegetarians easily accommodated, you pre-order your hot breakfast the night before, so can choose exactly what you want - the full English... More
