This was a fantastic campsite, very quiet, stunning location and vista. We received a very warm welcome, loved the site. The showers were warm and clean, the washing up area was really good. We will return to this site

Stayed here for a weekend with friends & had a brilliant time. The campsite is lovely & the facilities are 1st class with hot showers, freezer, hot drinks machine & washing up inside. Slight glitch with our booking as we had been told we could have pitches with & without electric next to each other & were then sent to... More

Margaret the Owner Is one of the most welcoming ladies in a B&B that I have ever met .On arrival you are met with tea or coffee and a bun ,"sorry about the table cloth Margaret" and a exceptionally warm welcome.Margaret is also very witty and game for a laugh ,she also has time to stop and talk to her... Great B&B with everything you can think of included in your room. Fantastic breakfast with lots to choose from including fresh fruit salad made with loads of fresh berries, cereals, yogurts and the best full English we'd seen. Vegetarians easily accommodated, you pre-order your hot breakfast the night before, so can choose exactly what you want - the full English... More

Our 1st time staying here will certainly return. Lovely greeting on arrival by Margaret, comfy, spotlessly clean room. Delicious breakfast and oh so peaceful. Tucked away in an idyllic setting, but easy to find as well sign posted.

On our arrival, we were met by Angelica, daughter-in- law of the owner, Margaret, and she very soon made us feel at home with a lovely cup of tea and home-made cake. We stayed for two nights B & B in the Oak room, which was very comfortable and gave us everything we needed. We met Margaret at breakfast times,... More

Nice location for walking in Peak District. We only stayed one night but were made to feel very welcome - greeted with tea/coffee and lovely homemade cake. Breakfast was excellent. Nice touches in room - a fridge, home made cookies, cotton wool pads, corkscrew... and earplugs. These are useful if you want an early night as walls seem quite thin... More

Just had a weekend away for my husbands birthday. I chose Knotlow for the location and it didn't disappoint. Very rural area, beautiful countryside on the doorstep, peaceful and relaxing. We arrived at 3pm to be greeted by Margaret, she showed us to our room (Ash) and then provided hot tea and carrot cake, which was delicious. Our room overlooked... More

We stayed at this B&B for one night to take the opportunity to see little bit of the Peak District before collecting our son from Sheffield university. The Farm is located in a superb location, not far from Bakewell. We stayed in the Elm room, which was very clean and comfortable. The shortbread biscuits were delicious! There is a very... More
