This B&B is in a genuine working farm, in a lovely setting between Flagg and Monyash. The owners are helpful and friendly and I had a fine breakfast. Its a 10 minute scenic walk along the footpath to the nearest pub in Monyash.

We stayed for two nights and we were all very impressed. The facilities were good, nice hot showers and sinks to wash your cups etc. The showers are coin operated, only accepting 20p's, this wasn't a problem for us and I can't imagine it would be for anyone else. The campsite offers fire baskets for a fair rate per night... More

Just stopped for two nights at the campsite and was certainly very impressed. Excellent facilities and friendly people matched with a central location for Dark peak and white peak areas, and for cyclists, the monsal trail and the high peak and tissington trails are a short ride away. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from a great weekend spent here. The loo and shower block is modern and clean, but do remember your 20p's for the showers! They seemed to separate the families from other campers which was great, we didn't need to worry so much about waking others with our ridiculously early starts! Big fields with lots of space,... July 23-24. My wife and I just got back from 2 perfect days in Flagg. We're from St. Louis, but I used the "brilliant" title since that is apparently the Brit superlative in vogue. We stayed in one of three rooms at the B & B, and Margaret made us literally feel at home. The room was spotless, the bathroom... More

Spent a weekend here with friends recently & was really pleased at the environmentally friendly aspects- rainwater flushing loos, loads of solar panels, good recycling facilities - great! : ) The shower block was very clean, grass in the fields was nicely cut, also loved the handy tea/coffee/cold drinks machines. Great location on the limestone way - we stayed on... More

My partner and I have just come back from an excellent two night stay (Fri and Sat) in the Oak Room and have had an absolutely brilliant time. Although we arrived later than we had planned on Friday evening, Margaret gave us a very warm welcome including a beautifully made hand made scone with cream, jam and a chocolate covered... More

We stayed for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend at the campsite - we had a wonderful time, lucky with the weather and enjoyed using the fire pits they hire out in the evening to toast some marshmallows. We tried 2 of the local pubs they recommended - Duke of York had appallingly slow service (hour plus wait blamed... More

Me and my partner have just come back from a 2 night camp trip at knotlow and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is very well maintained and spacious, we pitched in a lovely spot with amazing views. We've stayed at a lot of campsites and struggle to find one that's not too noisy and also clean facilities . Knotlow... More

I arrived to be met at the door by Margaret, a really lovely lady, who offered tea and cake plus a chat. The whole place is very inviting and interesting, a real old farmhouse with lots of character. I was given a beautiful bedroom which (although a bit small as they have installed a 5 star hotel style bathroom in... More
