When going to Buxton this is my home away from home. All apartments are fully equipped with everything you need. Funny thing is the coin box where you have to pay your own electricity. Make sure you got a few pound coins on arrival. Nice quiet spot half in town half in nature

I am embarrassed to say, we've stayed with Gill Taylor approximately 8 times, and I've never written a review. We love the Priory Lea! We visit family, and enjoy long hikes, pubs, and football games. The Priory Lea is absolutely perfect for us; all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. Gill is accommodating and cheerful; going out... More

Just home from a week at Priory Lea. This was our first visit but hopefully will be one of many. We were made most welcome by Gill who keeps the flats spotless and very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Have just had a lovely week staying at the Priory Lea Holiday Flats, our fourth stay there. As always the Flat was spotless and had everything needed for a home from home stay. The location is good with great views over the lovely landscape to the horse and riding school. A nice stroll into town centre (passing 9 pubs on... More

When we arrived at the apartments we were met by Gill, the owner. She showed each couple their individual apartment and made us all feel very welcome. She was extremely friendly and very helpful throughout the whole week, always ready to fill us in with the information we required at the time. The flats were spotlessly clean and very homely,... We stayed in a very comfortable self-catering, 2 roomed apartment in Priory Lea for one week in September 2011. The owners, Gill and Paul Taylor were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. All the amenities of the apartment were as described on their website and we could not have been happier with our stay. The rooms are furnished in a fairly... More

We stayed at this property for just over 4 weeks in December 2008. Our first impression of the property was gleaned from their website and it looked and sounded exactly what we wanted. Self catering. On our arrival the external aspects of the property made it look like it was not cared for as the garden was unkempt and there... More
