We were staying as a family for the weekend to attend a reunion event at the hall. The staff are amazingly welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in an amazing building which sits in a beautiful location and has stunning views (see photo). However the hotel itself was very tired and I expected better for £250 for two nights. The... More

My family and I stayed here for Mallyfest. What an amazing place! The hotel was excellent. Staff brilliant and the grounds and scenery stunning. Wish we could have stayed longer to try some of the many activities that can be arranged through the hotel so we will definately be back.

The service felt so personal as I was always greeted by name and was always asked if I needed anything which made me feel right at home. I especially would... More

I have just returned from a week's annual stay at The Baskerville Hall Hotel. Having stayed at this hotel for eight consecutive years and pre-booked for next, I can honestly say I long for my return visit each year. I book a standard room on the top floor which overlooks the beautiful gardens, campsite and, in the distance, the black... More

We have just returned from about our 6th visit to this unique hotel .We love it because it is so different to modern plastic soulless hotels one is often forced to stay in . The setting is glorious ,the house full of character ,the rooms ,some of them huge with wonderful views ,are always clean and the staff unfailingly friendly... More

We stayed at the Baskerville Hall Hotel for a stag over the course of the weekend. We decided to camp for the first night and stay in the hotel for the second night. The camping field was great and we had it to ourselves, hotel even provided a bbq for us to use which was perfect for us. We were... More

We've just returned from a weekend away to Hay-on-Wye, our first brief visit to Wales. The Baskerville Hall was booked for an AGM meeting, and in the pictures on its website, it looked great. The staff were very friendly and the silver service dinner was tasty (even when I pointed out the dark hair sticking out from my pate, they... More
