This is an absolutely gorgeous building in a fabulous setting. When we arrived, I couldn't believe how impressive it was, and once inside, the entrance hall and staircase are amazing. We received a very warm welcome and our room was spacious with a 4 poster bed, even though we could only afford a budget room on mid-week special prices. It... More

Beautiful grounds and beautiful area. The didgeridoo festival was held in the grounds of the hotel so it was totally convenient as a base. Had a meal there which was good but otherwise didn't use the hotel facilities. The entrance hall was impressive.

Wonderful setting with access to great places to visit. Great nights sleep .. excellent breakfast and great service. Delightful setting .. with tree lined access. A real mix of users and camping on the lawn and a function room so can be a real mix of visitors.

If you fantasise about being Elizabeth Bennett this is your dream venue. My meal was perfect, the receptionist very helpful and everyone exceptionally pleasant. Yes the decor is dated but it matches the property and added to my trip. I would definately recommend this hotel.

We were staying as a family for the weekend to attend a reunion event at the hall. The staff are amazingly welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in an amazing building which sits in a beautiful location and has stunning views (see photo). However the hotel itself was very tired and I expected better for £250 for two nights. The... More

My family and I stayed here for Mallyfest. What an amazing place! The hotel was excellent. Staff brilliant and the grounds and scenery stunning. Wish we could have stayed longer to try some of the many activities that can be arranged through the hotel so we will definately be back.

Recently stayed at the Baskerville for the Hay festival and can honestly say ive never been made to feel more welcome by the staff of this establishment than anywhere else. The service felt so personal as I was always greeted by name and was always asked if I needed anything which made me feel right at home. I especially would... More

I have just returned from a week's annual stay at The Baskerville Hall Hotel. Having stayed at this hotel for eight consecutive years and pre-booked for next, I can honestly say I long for my return visit each year. I book a standard room on the top floor which overlooks the beautiful gardens, campsite and, in the distance, the black... More
