Fancy a cosy pub with really good food, interesting locals a mile from Hay-on-Wye? Sure, who wouldn't. We stayed here with a 3 year old and got a good deal accomodation/food package by contacting the pub directly, and we were very happy to have stumbled upon this gem. A lot of country pubs pay lip service to local/organic/gastro/fine dining, etc,... more

I would like to sincerely thank, June, Dave, Andy, Richard and all the staff of the Baskerville Arms Hotel in Clyro for making our wedding day on the 20th of June so wonderful. We held the wedding ceremony and the reception in the Hotel and the advice and guidance I was given by June and Richard regarding the arrangement of... more

I recently stayed at the Baskerville Arms for a weekend and found it to be one of the nicest country Inns I have stayed in for a while. All the staff were very helpful and could not do enough to help you enjoy your stay, The food was fantastic and we found ourselves having meals there on both nights-each night... more

I stayed here with my two young children and found it to be a nice hotel/Inn with freindly staff. It is a bit dated in places and could do with a refurb. but overall its clean and well kept. Our room was large and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable, just what you would expect really, nothing more nothing less.... more

I should have been warned when told that if I arrived after 8.00pm the kitchen would be closed. The room was a single and OK but TV had no remote and picture was shaky. Walls were so thin that extractor fan from other rooms woke me up. There was no curtain at the window, only a venetian blind that did... more

We stayed here because it was a shortish drive to Wonderwool Wales at the Royal Welsh showground at Builth Wells and because we had left to too late to find a closer hotel. Next year we won't bother looking for somewhere nearer because The Baskerville Arms suited our needs perfectly. Our room was comfortable and had everything we wanted including... more
