Ideal as off the main road, lovely views from the upstairs bedrooms, delicious breakfasts and a hostess willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. We stayed here with friends who had stayed before, so we knew it would be good.

This is a fantastic B&B. We stayed there one night whilst exploring the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye. Our room was very comfortable and clean, though the ceiling in our en-suite did slope quite sharply. The cooked breakfast was good, and Pauline friendly. We would highly recommend this B&B, and would stay there next time we're in Hay-on-Wye.

Vermont is an excellent quality B&B 5-10mins walk from centre of Hay on Wye. We stayed one night whilst walking Offa's Dyke Path. The B&B is very comfortable and clean with a well cooked breakfast. Our room was modern and well appointed (loft conversion). Pauline Williams knows how to run a good B&B. This is a standard B&B , rather... More

We found "Stay in Hay" via the Hay tourist information office and we were not disappointed .We stayed in a spotlessly clean and comfortable en suite room. Pauline was most welcoming and friendly and treated us to a superb breakfast. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac so you are not disturbed , yet the town is only a 10... More

Sleep in a comfortable bed in a very clean and well presented en-suite room. Wake to the sound of the blackbird, proceed to the well presented dining room. Partake of a delicious cooked breakfast while listening to your host Pauline relate tales of the characters of fascinating Hay on Wye. Then stroll the short distance into town to explore. Don't... Pauline Williams' B & B is welcoming and charming. We had a lovely, clean room with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic, served with true hospitality. It was a short walk to the center of Hay. We will plan to go back the next time we visit Hay! Mark and Jill R.

I can't thank Pauline enough for the wonderful stay we had here. My partner and I were booking last minute and Pauline managed to fit us in for 5 nights. The twin room was clean, roomy, beds extremely comfortable with free Wifi and a television. Great to have an en-suite, the towels were changed every day and we would always... More

Made to feel very welcome by Pauline here. Very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money, so close to Hay on Wye town centre. Parking easy and a 5 minute walk in to town so can't really think there could be better value in town.

Stayed as part of Offa's Dyke walk. We were made very welcome and the breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable and had free WiFi and TV. Pauline was friendly and even dried our wet walking boots! Would recommend it to anyone.
