We stayed for a couple of nights' book-huntinng. Nice downstairs double bedroom with shower room; excellent breakfast cooked to order; friendly proprietor; very convenient location. Good value and recommended.

I was looking for a quiet 2 days of 'me' time after a hectic year when I came across St. Mary's. Views of the accommodation on the official website looked promising, so I made a reservation for two nights. I had a twin bedded room at the front of the house, with en suite bathroom. I was pleased to see... More

We had a lovely two night stay here. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Ann was a lovely host and our breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is a short 5 minute walk into town and close to a lovely walk along the river Wye too. Perfect for us!

We arrived at St Mary's B&B after 3 days of walking the Offa's Dyke path. The en-suite room was clean and comfortable with everything we required. We stayed 2 nights, and Ann was a very helpful tour guide with suggestions on spots to relax in, and places of interest to explore. She was also a complete star and did our... More

We had a lovely stay and a very warm welcome during our recent visit to Hay-on-Wye. Ann was a splendid host and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Easy walking distance to the town centre and overall a very cute place to be. Would highly recommend it to any travellers looking to visit a place to enjoy their books.

This visit was pleasant. Nicely decorated and clean room and breakfast room with all the facilities we needed. We didn't see much of the owners, except for on arrival and at breakfast, but they were available if we needed something. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.

This was our best booking by far. The owners are nice, friendly people. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are clean and neat. The town was fantastic, you will really like it if you enjoy literature. 10/10.

We had a very warm welcome, and a lovely cooked breakfast. Anne went out of her way to find me a tea strainer for my own tea! All good. Very close to Hay on Wye easy walk into town. Would stay there again.

Very clean B&B in easy walking distance to the town centre. The bathrooms seem to be brand-new! Also very attentive and accomodating hosts - spent a few hours sitting in the cute backyard enjoying the sunshine, probably getting in Ann's way while she was working around us, but she made us believe she didn't mind:-) Good breakfast, too! We had a fantastic stay there, Anne and her husband were very welcoming from the start! We were a group of 7 lads on a bike ride, and most of the lads just ridden up from Newport, Gwent. I say most as I didn't ride up myself, I drove up to meet them for the night. We went out into... More
