Being of pensionable years, accompanied by my father and visiting an area we had never visited before, we were unsure of what to expect. We need not have worried as Ann and Keith made us feel very welcome in their spotless B & B. We stayed two nights and had lovely breakfasts and very comfortable rooms. The local knowledge that... Spent one night here doing the Offa's Dyke walk. It's situated in a quiet road a few 100 yards from the main centre. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which was a good size with an ensuite (great shower), clean and very comfortable with modern decor. Access to free wifi which did drop out a couple of... We stayed at St Mary's B&B for two nights as part of a group of five doing the Offa's Dyke walk. Ann was very helpful and welcoming. She was also happy to do all our accumulated washing for no charge. The rooms were comfortable. Initially the wifi was poor but one of our party installed their amplifier for them and... More

Having had a very long journey we arrived to a friendly, welcoming, clean and comfortable B&B. We were a family of 5 attending a family wedding and the B&B enabled us to have one side of the house completely to ourselves, which was wonderful. The hosts Ann and Keith did everything to accommodate us having a lovely time. The location... More

Stayed here for three nights whilst walking the Offas Dyke Path. An excellent B&B with a very welcoming host in Ann. Our room was on the first floor and contained everything we needed for our three night stay. A fantastically comfortable bed and a superb power shower and ample bathroom with reliable wifi in the room. The full breakfast was... More

I was looking for a quiet 2 days of 'me' time after a hectic year when I came across St. Mary's. Views of the accommodation on the official website looked promising, so I made a reservation for two nights. I had a twin bedded room at the front of the house, with en suite bathroom. I was pleased to see... More

We had a lovely two night stay here. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Ann was a lovely host and our breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is a short 5 minute walk into town and close to a lovely walk along the river Wye too. Perfect for us!

We arrived at St Mary's B&B after 3 days of walking the Offa's Dyke path. The en-suite room was clean and comfortable with everything we required. We stayed 2 nights, and Ann was a very helpful tour guide with suggestions on spots to relax in, and places of interest to explore. She was also a complete star and did our... More

We had a lovely stay and a very warm welcome during our recent visit to Hay-on-Wye. Ann was a splendid host and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Easy walking distance to the town centre and overall a very cute place to be. Would highly recommend it to any travellers looking to visit a place to enjoy their books.
