The Ballyglass B&B is a nice, quaint hotel near the town of Tipperary. It is located a bit away from the town center so it is the ideal place if you want peace and quiet and a wonderful time surrounded by the sounds of nature. Simply fantastic. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived before the check in... More

We were looking for a place to stay for one night while touring around Ireland. Using Tripadvisor I came across Ballyglass Country House just outside Tipperary. To start with, I was able to book online which made it very easy. The cost of the rooms was quite reasonable so we decided to give it a go. We're so glad we... More

Had a most wonderful meal at the forge baldly glass yesterday. The steak was the best I have eaten in a long time, probably since I visited the forge last! I almost forgot to mention the wonder ful welcome and log fire. Miriam

On our way to the JFK Homestead Visitor Centre in Dunganstown, Co. Wexford which is only excellent and I would most certainly recommend a visit to everyone. We always look forward to going to Ballyglass House Hotel for the warm welcome we receive and the excellent choice of food which is top class. We have a full and hearty breakfast... More

We enjoyed our stay here, the house is beautiful. Our welcome was warm, but our room a little chilly on arrival. The room was comfortable, the bathroom immaculate and the bedding was warm. The Forge hotel attached to the house was lovely, a warm fire and small bar very inviting. Would have been nice to maybe open a little earlier... More

We went for dinner here on Saturday and I had to take time out to tell you all how fantastic it was. The place was buzzing with people which made the atmosphere amazing. Despite the amount of other people dining, they certainly didn't skimp on service, we were so well looked after and really felt that they couldn't do enough... More

This hotel knows how to make the business traveller feel at home. They do it effortlessly and each time I go back I thank goodness there are still hotels like this around. The welcome is always warm and the Guinness cold. One of my favourite hotels and I come back to it month after month.

The setting for Ballyglass is beautiful and very quiet. The family who runs it were really delightful people who were very helpful. The rooms could use updating. Our room did not have a shower, just a hand-held shower attachment in the tub. The food in the Forge Restaurant, part of Ballyglass, was average while the service was very good. Same... More

The sign at reception says it all " you arrive as strangers and leave as friends". This is so true. The hotel is so homely, loved the old styled lounge. The piece and quiet so relaxing. Ruth's home made scones were to die for. Loved everything about the placed. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Food top class. Had a... More

Had a little party for my dad's 70th birthday in Ballyglass hotel on July 28th. I must say everything was first class, from the moment we arrived Ruth and her staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was simply superb, very tasty & in abundance. Definitely the place to enjoy a beautiful Sunday lunch at a very reasonable... More
