we spent last weekend in aherlow house hotel and had a lovely time. the hotel is in a stunning location and the hotel itself is charming, traditional, and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We got an excellent value break, 2 nights b&b and dinner for 200. it was great that there was no restriction on the dinner that... more

Stayed here for the last weekend in October and had a lovely, relaxing time. It has the feel of a comfortable hunting lodge with a lovely big fire in the bar and very comfy armchairs - perfect for chilling on a wet, cold day (which we had over the weekend!). The staff were very friendly and unobtrusive - the food... more

This hotel is located in a beautiful part of the country, with fantastic views of the mountains. The food is excellent especially the dinner. The room we stayed in was fantastic with splendid views of the galtee mountains from our bedroom. Most of the staff are friendly. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful. The dining room and bar staff we... more

This was one of my favourite places to stay during my eighteen day honeymoon in Ireland. My husband and I only booked one night here, but we had wished we could have spent a week. The view is stunning; they have a great patio for relaxing with a beer and watching the sunset over the mountains. The food was also... more

This hotel is in a stunning location. However, it is also very expensive, especially with the euro now being more or less equivalent to the pound. For the price charged we would have expected much more. The room decor was fine, though the duvet cover did not fit the duvet (the duvet stuck out at the end) and the tea... more

Stayed with family and friends in the lodges - self -catering. Very spacious and unbeatable views especially from master bedroom balcony. 3 bathrooms could do with a little refurbishment but hot water and heating was adequate along with open log fire. Kitchen adequate for cooking etc and large pine table great for family meals and boardgames in the evening. Management... more

The hotel is nestled in the woods with breathtaking scenery of the Galtee Mountains. The hotel was a perfect choice for a romantic getaway. The staff were charming, the food was excellent and the log fire was welcome in the cold weather more

We were in Tipperary visiting friends who told us to stay at the Aherlow House Lodges. I can't comment on the hotel rooms since we stayed in the self catering lodges. Our lodge had a breathtaking view of the Galtee Mountains. Our view looked like all the post card photos that you see of Ireland. The lodges sit on the... more

I stayed at this hotel for my friends wedding and from the first moment i entered i found the atmosphere very claiming and friendly. The Scenari was breath taking and the staff were very helpful and humorious. Although i only stayed there for a night i thought the rooms to be well sized and modern. I would not recommend this... more
