We stayed for one night for Chepstow races. Received a very warm welcome from the owners who were very chatty and friendly. Our room was nice, cosy and warm enough with a comfortable bed. The pub itself was quiet when we returned from the races but is very homely and cosy with a good choice of real ales and Dark... More

Went to the pub to watch the rugby with friends, Wales playing England! Wow what a great night, the atmosphere was brilliant. The pub was packed with fans but we still managed to have a very nice meal before the match started. Very friendly pub.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed Friday night. The place was packed with both Welsh & English Rugby fans and the atmosphere was brilliant! It was so busy the biggest challenge was weaving between the customers to bring you your food. We managed it and everyone seemed to enjoy their food in time to watch... More

I'm a resident of Chepstow, and recently visited "the Coach" for the first time in ages. It was their first (since new management) open mic night, and I took my guitar and joined in. What a night! The beer was fab, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have difficulty with my voice and don't cope well with... More

Not one to normally write reviews (Leave that to the Wife) but having stayed here on a business trip thought that it deserved some praise for the way I was welcomed not just only from the Landlord and Landlady but from the Locals that where present during my stay. Really warm room with a very comfortable bed. I will definitely... More

A great pub, very friendly staff and lovely cosy room. I was toasty warm even though it was below freezing outside the whole time I was there. Good beer in the bar downstairs with great bar staff, and solid full English breakfast to welcome you in the morning. The best spot for a few nights in Chepstow by a mile.

We like to get away during the Christmas /NYE period. We found this place last minute and escaped everyday life for a swift one night stay at The Coach and Horses Inn. Firstly it is important to us that we are able to take our dog with us, so we rang ahead to be sure. The Land lord answered (Dave)... More
