I spared a night in the accommodation. The room was simple but warm and nice. If the soundproof was a little better, it could be considered a really good choice for budget travelers/visitors. I did not visit the pub, but their breakfast last maybe until 10, because I went 10:30 and they had nothing to eat. It is 1 minute... More

I was passing through this summer and needed somewhere for an unplanned stay. My trip lasted 18 nights staying in different B&Bs, many of them of a similar low budget. None of them were as bad as this. My room looked like it had not been decorated since the 70's and still had that unpleasant tobacco odour and staining in... More

Stayed for one night just to catch up with familly friends. Room was very clean and very comfortable, staff was brilliantly welcoming. Access might be a problem disabled people though. And breakfast wasnt great but set you up for the day. All in all, perfect for one night.

Great weekend with Dave & Lisa, made us feel really welcome. I am sure we were close to one of the first to book, when they took over almost a year ago, and we ensured we kept regular contact to ensure all was clear from both sides. Service was good at all levels from the owners, as well as the... More

My boyfriend and I only stayed the one night at this lovely Inn and we had driven up very late from Southampton. But as soon as we arrived, we were given a warm welcome. The. Bedroom was very charming and tidy and even though our room overlooked the street area, it was very quiet. We only stayed the one night... More

Sometimes you meet people in life who leave an impression on you. Myself and a friend travelled to Chepstow to go for a day at the races. We left the train station on foot and were walking to the race course when we spotted this lovely looking little pub. I gingerly opened the door and asked if they were open... More

We stayed in Room 7 which is tucked away at the back of the building so nice and quiet. Our friends were in room 3 at the front and they slept very well too though- nothing to do with the Beer sampling in the bar that night!! We would've liked an ensuite room, but we booked later than our friends... More
