We chose the Racecourse simply because of the many positive reviews - we were not disappointed. The premises are immaculate - all fixtures/fittings are new, immaculate & spotless. Julie & Brian are warm & welcoming hosts. Breakfast is a seemingly endless selection of high quality cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurts, cooked items. Nothing to fault or suggest improving. Thank you for... More

I recently stayed here for 3 nights while working near Chepstow - this is certainly the best guest house that I have ever visited. I was given (I think) the Ascot suite which was spacious, comfortable and spotless with a lovely en-suite. Everything you could possibly need, a huge bed and nice touches everywhere - plenty of towels, a dressing... More

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights...cannot fault it. Julie and Brian are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the Cheltenham room and although the room wasn't en-suite we were allocated our own bathroom with toiletries, and a drsssing gown, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices...we... More

The Racecourse Guesthouse was extremely comfortable. We loved the extra large bed and the attractive decor. Even though we were late arriving, Julie, our host, gave as a warm and friendly welcome. The breakfast was served in a light and airy room and was delicious.

Lovely and warm. posh toiletries (makes all the difference!) SHOWER WAS AMAZING! Very powerful! Breakfast was superb. We stayed at The Racecourse Guesthouse after reading so many positive reviews on Trip Advisor - they were not wrong. Brian and Julie are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble and attention to detail is everywhere. The guesthouse is modern and immaculate and in a perfect location for access to Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, The Racecourse, Offas... More

This guesthouse is a real gem. The room I stayed in had everything and more you could need. I was made very welcome by the friendly, down to earth hosts. I would have no hesitation in recommending this guesthouse and I look forward to staying there again.

I stayed here along with my mother, whilst competing at the David Broome Equestrian Centre. Julie made us feel welcome straight away and went the extra mile in order to give us breakfast by making it an hour and half early for us when we had early starts! The rooms are beautifully decorated and despite it being 5* there is... More

Me and my girlfriend spent 2 nights there and we've left with nothing but fantastic memories of our stay. Its in a great location, has a clean modern feel, our bedroom (the Newbury) was spacious and comfortable with a lovely big bed and breakfast was an absolute treat!
