The Mrs decided she wanted to go away for the night, after a long night of searching we chose the Saint Pierre on a dinner deal. Hotel is outside of Chepstow set in beautiful grounds. Staff were fantastic very helpful especially Kirsty on reception. We were unable to check in early as room not ready, but Kirsty came and found... More

Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with excellent shower/ensuite. Breakfast was buffet style but with plenty of choice. On site Zest Restaurant is pleasant with a decent menu and specials. The staff throughout the hotel worked hard and were really helpful, especially during the wedding reception. Bar services were fine once ale was left to settle a while longer. The views... More

Stayed with my partner in early January. Beautiful location, enjoyed traditional Welsh weather throughout our stay and didn't explore too far though. The rooms are adequate but, with budget brands like Premier Inn delivering to such a high standard, Marriott needs to raise it's game. In 2016, why are we still paying for WiFi? It is free at most caribbean... More

2 weeks ago i stayed in the Novotel in Cardiff, This hotel being half the price of the st Pierre I was expecting good things when I got to the hotel. The hotel is lovely looking, but the first thing that stood out to me was the lack of signs of where to park. Then finding the spa was like... More

Just returned from a stay at this beautiful hotel and must say it was fabulous! We went on a package of Sunday lunch, dinner, overnight stay with full breakfast. Our room was an upgrade to a cottage in the grounds which was fabulous - very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the bedroom had tea/coffee... More

This may not be your typical Marriott - it's an attractive historic building with some new corridors added at the back. It is abit cold getting to your room in the winter if you are at the end of the new bit. The rooms though I think are homely and clean with the typical Marriott feel. I had room service... More

I stayed at the hotel in business whilst in Chepstow , my room was in the new section of the hotel on the ground floor - the corridors smelt of damp as I neared my room which was very cold. I adjusted the heat setting but this didn't make much difference and I had a cold night. Dinner in the... More

This is great to get away with kids. Fantastic pool area and good food in the fancier restaurants - I can't say too much about the other restaurants (the one in the bar area near the pool). But the food was great in the formal restaurant area past the main lobby.

I get to stay here every time I work from our Wales office. It's a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. I prefer the lakeside apartments to the main hotel or courtyard apartments. Some of the rooms are a long walk from reception and parking isn't amazingly convenient here. I find the corridors in the main building smell damp and... More
