late Friday night booking as turned up without a reservation. When they saw my husband was on crutches they ensured ground floor room. Room was adequate but needed some deep cleaning - cobwebs on skirting boards and bit dusty. Breakfast when it arrived was hot and nice however one of the waitresses could not have looked less interested if she... More

We stayed for a Saturday evening so we could go racing. Then hotel is central with a car park so ideally placed. We had a double room on the 2nd floor which was basic, but clean, well presented and good value. No complaints at all, as the staff were friendly and helpful. and the breakfast splendid. The bar seemed to... More

We booked this hotel as we were visiting a friend locally and walking in the Wye Valley, so just wanted somewhere central. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and there are really nice little touches like a huge selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Apparently some people moan about the decor but... More

Stayed at this hotel April 29th 2015 on a 2 night NCrowd deal. After reading some of the comments made by other people on the reviews, we were a bit baffled as we found the hotel clean and tidy. There was a discount voucher in the room on arrival for 15% discount on food, we made use of this and... More

Found the Beaufort hotel the only establishment in Chepstow that would allow our well behaved dog in with us while we enjoyed a much needed coffee ( which was also very good at reasonable price). Such a shame the other coffee houses were not so forthcoming

We were three friends staying one night in a family room. Although advertised with parking, the small car park was full and we had to park elsewhere, which is a pain when carrying bags etc. We walked into the bar (which could desperately use some refurbishment) and found reception. Staff were very helpful and we were checked in quickly and... More

We were visiting Chepstow for the day and were looking for somewhere to eat breakfast where we could also take our beagle doggie. After being turned away from various places we spotted the Beaufort and were going to sit outside but were told we could bring him in! The staff were very friendly and couldn't have made us and our... More

The Beaufort Hotel is in a good location in Chepstow town centre. Quick & friendly check in. Room was fine, with en suite shower. Pub was busy on a Saturday afternoon,( mostly racegoers), as the hotel is within walking distance of Chepstow Racecourse. Limited parking available, but there are public car parks nearby. Would definately stay here again if ging... More

Hotel is in centre of town and the convenience of that is a plus, as was the proximity of the Lyme Tree eatery, just down the street - that was excellent. The parking space was difficult to manoeuvre in and out of. The room was ok, but the sink was not close to the loo. The breakfast was poor.

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving your comments regarding your stay here with us. Although I am disappointed with the comments regarding our breakfasts.
