I booked this hotel for a group Golf Society weekend break and was taken care of by the lovely Katie who arranged the booking on our behalf. The Hotel is in the centre of town and in a perfect location for the local nightlife as everything is within 5 minute walking distance. The hotel bar itself was always busy with a... More

My friend and I stayed here for one night before stsrting our walking holiday. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was adequate but a better selection of herbal tea bags would have been nice. This was good value and we had a pleasant stay.r

Good location but scruffy and very dated breakfast extra @ £7.95 Continental @ £5.50 rip off. Fittings and furnishings were dated and cheap looking and we were in the best room! Not one of the staff knew anything of the area, bus or timetables unacceptable. Would not recommend.

Once again our annual family stay at the Beaufort Hotel was fantastic. Staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble when you ask for anything. The rooms are clean , comfortable, and well appointed. We hope to continue our annual stay at the Beaufort as long as we are able. Thanks to everyone . The McClean family.

I stay in on average 10 hotels a month, in everything from B&Bs to 5 star so i know theres a difference in standards between them all, the problem at the Beaufort is theres no standards no customer service and no visible hospitality management. Week management is the problem, and its a shame because it really could be a jewel... More

We booked this hotel as it was the nearest one available for a friend's wedding reception at his house in Chepstow. The central location was perfect- close to shops, supremarket and there is a good choice of restaurants all within a 10 min walk away. The staff were warm and friendly, they even served us breakfast despite us coming down... More

late Friday night booking as turned up without a reservation. When they saw my husband was on crutches they ensured ground floor room. Room was adequate but needed some deep cleaning - cobwebs on skirting boards and bit dusty. Breakfast when it arrived was hot and nice however one of the waitresses could not have looked less interested if she... More

We stayed for a Saturday evening so we could go racing. Then hotel is central with a car park so ideally placed. We had a double room on the 2nd floor which was basic, but clean, well presented and good value. No complaints at all, as the staff were friendly and helpful. and the breakfast splendid. The bar seemed to... More

We booked this hotel as we were visiting a friend locally and walking in the Wye Valley, so just wanted somewhere central. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and there are really nice little touches like a huge selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Apparently some people moan about the decor but... More

Stayed at this hotel April 29th 2015 on a 2 night NCrowd deal. After reading some of the comments made by other people on the reviews, we were a bit baffled as we found the hotel clean and tidy. There was a discount voucher in the room on arrival for 15% discount on food, we made use of this and... More
