This was our third visit and the level of excitement in our car was high. Even the journey is a source of great adventure - great cheers going up as we spot the Severn Bridge and then along roads that seem to get narrower and steeper until you think you can go no further. And finally, a transfer from reality... More

We've just returned from a midweek break at Hidden Valley. We were really looking forward to our trip, but the love that Amanda and Peter have lavished on their enchanted valley made our visit so special. They are rightly proud of the land that they've stewarded, and they have kept a wild feel to this secret place but added so... More

It's a great place to take the kids and let them have the freedom you probably used to enjoy back when times were simpler. The location is quiet with loads of space, great walks in the woods, splashing in the stream and fantastic sunsets to enjoy. You can let the kids off the leash and relax they can't really stray... I had a superb time with my 10 and 8 year old daughters. A fantastic escape from the nanny state and day to day pressures of life. My daughters have never experienced anything like it and absolutely loved it. They got wet, filthy, cut, bruised and have never been so happy and free. I had the best time watching them... More

We were here for a long weekend with our 2 and 5 year old and had a wonderful time. The yurt was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed, and the site itself was idyllic. We spent many hours exploring and finding the swings around the site, building dams in the stream and... More

Wow, what a fantastic place. We visited with our 5 and 3 year old who adored everything about it. They made some lovely friends, were up at 8am, exploring, building dams, nature walks, toasting marshmellows. Location is idyllic, so safe and the facilities are amazing. It was wonderful to stay in an authentic Mongolian yurt with our own outdoor kitchen.... More

In Yurt 6 this time. Great self contained Yurt with its own kitchen and composting toilet. It's away from the other 5 yurts so would definitely suit a honeymoon couple. Another great 4 days with a bushcraft session which was a new addition this time. Lovely community atmosphere with all the families coming together around the bonfire at night toasting... More

We had such a wonderful holiday here with our two sons (aged 13 and 11). We were keen to go on a holiday which got the boys away from mobile phones/computers etc and back to the simple things in life. In fact the boys were so busy river walking, building dams, campfires, strumming guitars and playing with the friendly dog... More

We were made to feel so welcome on arrival by Amanda and Peter. They were so friendly, genuine and helpful. The yurts were beautiful so spacious and comfortable. The decking area had everything. The views and the surrounding area were so tranquil and relaxing. The shared facilities (kitchen and bathrooms) were spotless and had everything you could think off. Streamwalking,... More
