I stayed at Hidden Valley Yurts with my family in September. the traditional yurts were beautiful inside and the log burners had no trouble keeping us warm. At one point we even had to open the doors! The yurts and kitchen were very well equipped. The children had great fun making home made pizzas and the adults using the traditional... More

I booked all 5 yurts for my husband's 40th and we had a magical time. We were blessed with September sunshine and with beautiful old friends but we were all blown away by how perfect the site was. The owner, Mike, was really helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. One of the highlights for my kids was the ride down... More

Last year we had such a fantastic time as two families visiting the site that this year we booked the same weekend and also invited another 2 families so we had 4 out of 5 yurts booked. Under new ownership now the whole experience was different due the lack of attention to the finer details and the vacuum of warm... More

HI to the Tyler family. I am really sorry that your felt that you stay with us wasn't the same as last year, as you mentioned the site is under new management and it sounds as if you really hit it off with and missed the previous owners Peter and Amanda. We endeavour to leave our guests to enjoy the... More

Just spent an amazing weekend at Hidden Valley Yurts with friends and family. What a fabulous place for kids to roam free and play in woodland as we all did when we were children! The yurts are beautiful with a woodburning stove in the middle which was great for the chilly evenings and for melting marshmellows! Each yurt also has... More

Lovely place to go for a weekend. Super log burners inside the Yurt to keep it warm and cosy. Also a great village pub which does amazing food which is only a 15 minute up the hill from the Yurt valley.

My family, my friends family were really looking forward to this trip. So much so I was worried about building the whole holiday out of proportion like you do sometimes. Then when you get there you are disappointed. Well we weren't . Hidden Valley yurts is just that. Hidden in the valley of Llanishen, Chepstow, Wales surrounded by 100 acres... More

We have just come back from a great long weekend at Hidden Valley Yurts. What a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable place it is. Mike, who owns it (but is still in his first month) was really accommodating and helpful -- being there to meet us as we arrived, and taking our bags down to the Yurts in the valley on... More

From the moment we arrived Mike was on hand to ferry us to our Yurt in his off road buggy & our pre-ordered Tesco delivery had already been unpacked. We stayed in Yurt 1 which had its own fully equipped outdoor kitchen and compost loo. All the communal facilities were very clean with plenty of hot water for a bath... More

We recently came back from Hidden Valley after spending a four night break there. I think we were amongst the first guests after Mike took over. The yurts are lovely and very well equipped, and the valley itself is pretty idyllic, and in an especially scenic part of the country. We stayed in No5 which was nicely situated, with a... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Hidden Valley Yurts. The site was easy enough to find with the postcode and the directions given on the website. Harry met us in the car park with an off road buggy with a trailer to cart our luggage and ourselves down to the site. We had pre-ordered a Tesco's... More
