Fantastic location close to castle and town Center, friendly and great atmosphere made very welcome! Rooms are slightly dated but extremely clean and comfortable, our room had a fantastic view would certainly recommend a stay and will be returning.

Of you like "british food", like sandwiches you could make at home or soup you could bye in Tesco but you want to pay someone else to make it, try this place. It was exactly as I expected. Average and uninspired. To be honest some people will love it.

After spending many a night contemplating life with former landlord Craig, we were saddened to hear the news of his departure. We gave the new landlord a chance and were one of the first to give him a chance. Tonight we were kicked out because the new landlord fancied an early night. Come back Craig. Free the sandwiches

Saw an advertising board for this place and found it right next to the river. Upon entering we were told that no coffee or hot chocolate were available as their machine had broken down - we said we were ok with tea and took a table in the garden which was full of used dishes with others stacked on the... After visiting Chepstow Castle, I stopped in for a late lunch with my friends. The service was lovely and had a really nice cream tea, my first! I highly recommend. The menu was reasonably priced and had a lot of options for lunch.

We'd just been to the castle and were looking for a light lunch on a budget. We got a nice welcome. The menu was reasonable for selection and price. We had soup which was served with some very nice bread. If you go through to the back there's a great view over the river.

We were coming through Chepstow to see the castle. We decided to pop in for tea and some cake. The teas were great and the cakes were sumptuous. Not bad for 3 people under £10 either! Worth stopping. The view of the River Wye is beautiful, as well!

First, we saw this advertised as a B&B, but then it turned out that breakfast wasn't included. Sometimes available, for an additional fee. The room was very small, but decent. But the bath had apparently been used - wet slip-mat in bottom & wet, half-used bath gel on ledge. Advertised a lovely view of river, but ours was 60% blocked... More

We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Joe and his excellent Staff for hosting the above bash. There were twenty seven of us from far and wide. We had sole use of the back room, with it's views over the River, for Sunday Lunch. The room was beautifully appointed beforehand by the Staff who were most attentive, helpful... More

Myself, my sister & my baby visited here on a sunny afternoon. It's now under new management & us more if a cafe than a restaurant. Serve baguettes, paninis, sandwiches & cakes etc rather than cooked meals. The sun terrace out the back over looking the river is just perfect on a sunny day, very relaxing & peaceful. We both...
