I have recently returned from a brief stay at The Pend which I had chosen as a suitably base for a fishing expedition with my nephew-I have to say it exceeded my expectations. the owner manager-Peter-and his charming and well-behaved Westie-Bridey-could not have been more welcoming and courteous. The accommodation-featuring some delightful antiques and prints-was right up my street: a... More

This accommodation is set in the middle of Dunkeld and Peter your host is in a class of his own way above the hospitality you will find in your average B&B Egyptian cotton sheets dressing gowns even fresh coffee in your room Now I have stayed in some top quality hotels and the breakfast cannot be improved upon Value for... This is a b&b just off the Main Street in Dunkeld. Superb location for shops and the local area. The house is decorated in a traditional fashion. Our bedroom was clean and our specific requests were met without an issue (no feather pillows). The shared bathroom was clean and spacious. There was only ourselves and one other person staying, so... More

A character-filled building with plenty of charm. The rooms are lovely and beds very comfortable. Only draw back might be a shared bathroom facilities, but that wasn't a problem for me. Breakfasts are tasty with lots of choice -- freshly prepared fruit cocktail with yogurt, healthy seed mix, porridge or any mixture of cooked breakfast foods or Ardbroath Smokies. Lovely... More

We stayed at The Pend in mid September, and were quite pleased. The room was spacious and comfortable. Peter, our host, prepared a fabulous breakfast. He is an artist in the kitchen; this us not your average breakfast . Lots of fresh fruit, smoked fish, dried fruits etc... Just lovely. Dunkeld is a delightful small tow with a good pub... More

I stayed here at the end of my sixth day on my Land's End to John O'Groats ride in June 2014, from Moffat to Dunkeld. The building is full of character. My room was right in the roof and the staircase wound its way up through the middle of the house giving a real impression of age, with the stairs... More

We booked this as the owner was very welcoming and friendly when we emailed him. When we got there the room was large and private. No en suite but I expect that with B&B's. We had two small dogs which became very muddy as we took advantage of the many beautiful walks in Dunkeld, the owner was more than accommodating... More

I would probably not have booked a room here had I realised that the room was not en suite, but actually had a really good experience. The room was large and comfortable and the building is just off the main Street in Dunkeld. The breakfast was undoubtedly the best breakfast I have had in any B&B. As well as being... More

I stayed here with a colleague while we were working in the area. The Pend is a wonderful B&B, very clean with large comfy rooms. Peter the landlord was very friendly and served a great breakfast. I can't think of a single negative to mention, so highly recommended!
