The whole family took over this lovely house for a special birthday. We had an amazing time. It was like staying as a private guest on our own country estate. The bedrooms are huge and extremely comfortable. Shannon and her team got the level of service just right - friendly and unobtrusive. They helped us arrange some live music for... More

We first stayed at Kinnaird House when it was a grand 5 star hotel in the '90s. Now, it operates as a fantastic Guest House with wonderful service from Shannon the manager and Steve the chef. The rooms are as wonderful as ever, and breakfast and dinner is served in the most beautifully hand painted dining-room in Scotland (in my... More

Our children have been giving us a surprise destination to grand houses in Scotland as a Christmas present for several years now and this is definitely one of the best. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome from chef Steve who cooked our breakfast and evening meals for our two nights stay. The food was excellent, well presented... More

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome, we were given a wee tour so we knew where to find everything before being taken to our room. The room was very large and comfortable, I have to say the bed was so large my hubby and I were lost in it. The bathroom again was... More

Incredible experience! Staff wonderful, food wonderful, room wonderful. Could not fault it. It was soooo relaxing and it felt like home. Can't wait to return. The guests kitchen with fridge was genious. Cosy and inviting and if you fancy a wee romantic getaway this is for you!!

We returned for one night at Kinnaird Guest House this year. We were welcomed by Shannon like old friends. Dinner prepared by chef Erika was fantastic - seared scallops on black pudding, venison tenderloins, light-as-air Sticky Toffee Pudding. We had the same beautiful room as last year. The next day we moved in to one of several cottages available for... More

Beautiful hotel, wonderful service and great food! What more can you ask for? They even moved my mum and I to a room on the ground floor since she was starting to have a little difficulty with the stairs, and did it while we were out for the day - seamlessly. Great place!

Having stayed at Kinnaird before when it was a country house hotel, we wondered what the change to a B&B would be like. We were given a lovely welcome by Shannon and shown to a very pleasant room/suite. Felt like we had the place to ourselves and the grounds are also beautiful to walk in. Rooms are lovely and very... Kinnaird is a beautiful country house in an lovely location overlooking the Tay river, and surrounding countryside. The house is warm, and inviting with a large living room, breakfast room and dining room all reminiscent of the old days, when friends gathered to hunt or get away from London in the summer. It is a grand place with elegant décor,... More

This is the second year we have held our annual spit roast at this outstanding venue in Perthshire. It is a quite spectacular country house, where you feel very much "at home". The rooms are spacious and luxurious. You have to be forgiving of the plumbing, bearing in mind the style and age of the property - it takes a... More
