This was our fourth visit to Kinnaird Estate Guest House and it is still as wonderful as always. We have requested the same room since our first visit and it is like coming home. The room is so large and tastefully decorated with a wonderful view over the gardens and river. The bathroom is huge with wonderful fluffy towels. We... More

This estate house is beautiful with majestic grounds and friendly, welcoming staff. On our first visit to Scotland, we had booked two nights here. We were lucky to be able to double our stay and would have stayed longer, had the house not been fully booked for the weekend. Even though the home is a grand old estate, my husband,... More

Beautiful location, we had a great day fishing on the lower Kinnaird beat on the river Tay - stayed Friday and Saturday and had the place to ourselves on first night. It's very comfortable and spacious - staffed by two - Steve the chef & Sharon - we had bilbarnie (?) room - huge bed - lovely light room &... More

Went here with 5 guys for a Whiskey tasting/fishing trip. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. Staff is all smiles and could not be more accommodating. Had an amazing time fishing as well, they have a beautiful little fishing cabin where we were able to do an amazing BBQ, the Gillies where VERY friendly and patient with... More

Absolutely lovely three night stay at Kinnaird House. Unparalleled surroundings, friendly staff and Malcolm the gillie was very knowledgeable about local waters and fun to spend the day with. Beautiful views of the Tay and surrounding countryside, great walks on your doorstep. NOT haunted. We stayed in room 4 Balnamuir, lovely with river view and hot, powerful shower. Own gas... More

We started going here in the mid-1990s and had an intimate wedding reception for family and close friends at Kinnaird in 1997. It was then a very up-market hotel, open only part of the year and geared to shooting and fishing, and to discreet retreats for diplomats, bankers, and the like. Then the owner, Mrs Ward, retired and had the... More

We spent a lovely 2nights at this really interesting and different Hotel. Although it is very grand with fabulous decor it has a very relaxed and welcoming feel. Our room and bathroom were huge and well equipped with views across the garden. Food was excellent with a set 3course dinner, although initially we were a wee bit concerned about the... More

Just back from a second visit to Kinnaird Estate Guest House. It was every bit as good as the first trip. The staff are very welcoming and there's a lovely, relaxed feel about the whole place. The rooms are fantastically well equipped and very comfortable. Came here as a base to do some walking - lots of great walks in... More

The whole family took over this lovely house for a special birthday. We had an amazing time. It was like staying as a private guest on our own country estate. The bedrooms are huge and extremely comfortable. Shannon and her team got the level of service just right - friendly and unobtrusive. They helped us arrange some live music for... More

We first stayed at Kinnaird House when it was a grand 5 star hotel in the '90s. Now, it operates as a fantastic Guest House with wonderful service from Shannon the manager and Steve the chef. The rooms are as wonderful as ever, and breakfast and dinner is served in the most beautifully hand painted dining-room in Scotland (in my... More
